Simply do not play a AAA title. You're at the discretion of a server host, obviously, but any game that isn't marketed for streaming money is fine. Also, I assume you mean games with matchmaking/public servers, since the worry is moot in small private lobbies.

garry's mod - it is unironically the last bastion of freedom among multiplayer video games - some of the servers you can find on there are +30 player cesspools of flippant racism, sexism, and degeneracy rife with some of the raunchiest furry porn sprays you can find on the internet and yet because of its old age and unassuming face value as a source-mod sandbox building game the media has completely overlooked it, one of the main reasons why i literally have over 6000 hours in the game is it just lost in time; ironically it has managed to stay almost exactly the same and remain pure in the face of censorship and politics because it and the players in it simply don't give a fuck, some people load up gmod just to hop on a pedobear run server and verbally shitpost for 45 minutes and then drop out and not play the game for a week, and every time they come back it's STILL THERE waiting for them just like it was countless other times
even if by some catastrophic and demonic twist of events gmod got hit by the faggot brigade, nobody can stop you from going into SP and posing alyx getting gangbanged by 6 metropolice, or spelling "nigger" on the wall with shit stains, you are a free man when you load up gmod and that's why i love it
