About 5-6 years ago I played a free jap mobile game where you have to free a waifu trapped in chains by kinda tapping the chain about 10000 times or so. She will whisper a random "thank you" variation while you focusing on the task.
And once completed, she thanked me (the player) for freeing her and "she can went back to her boyfriend's place now".
I was in my comfort zone during those period, and that literally destroyed my soul. The game will actually told you there are better ends depend on how you interact with the waifu but still I literally cried a little bit because it was too harsh for an end.
