Yeah you have to actually react instead of lazily walking backwards. The button prevents you from moving attacking which makes you actually have to be on point with your blocking.

Yeah, you actually have to avoid or block the shit forcing interaction. 90% of people just can't react to zoning. Clashing lets you both make zoning worthless.
