ok this a weird thing i have had about fingers. My finger nails absolutely MUST extend fully PAST the bed at least a little, if I cut them lower i cut them too short and it hurts like crazy. Everyone else I see has these fingernails where the nail is almost always BELOW the end of the bed unless they are grown out a ton. What gives anyone know what I mean?

i found this, i guess mine more closely resemble vertical long, but I tell you, I CANNOT trim them lower than in that image or i expose the sensitive under-nail part of the bed.

if i cut them all the way down, i get rounded. so maybe three milimeter of skin shows from above. i think this is normal since the tip of the finger is convex and the nail is on the top. i honestly don't understand how yours can be vertically long if cut all the way down.
