Why is this such a hard concept to grasp for most people?

Why is this such a hard concept to grasp for most people?
I always hear normies complain about inverted controls in every single game they play.

>consoleshooters

Those arent inverted controls retard

People don't see it as moving back or forward, but up and down. When you move the stick up, they expect the camera to also move up with it and vice versa.

Fuck off brainlet

do people who play with inverted aim also have the horizontal axis inverted? If not then they're just being inconsistent. Inexcusable

Imagine if real life plane controls worked like that.

>press up
>look up
>press down
>look down

>NOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T DO THAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A STICK ON THE BACK OF THE GUY'S HEAD NOOOOOOOOO YOU'RE CONTROLLING THE NECK INSTEAD OF THE HEAD STOP STOP STOP IT

>called inverted controls because most games control the opposite
>wonder why people do not play with inverted controls
I genuinely do not understand what you're struggling with. It makes logical sense that people who are familiar with pushing up to look up would continue to use up to look up

This.

Nothing is hard to grasp retard. It just feels shit

>tilt head up
>look up
>tilt head down
>look down

>NOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T DO THAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE Y+ AND Y- ON THE VIDEO GAME CONTROL DEVICE

Go back to

btfo

Non-inverted is a sign of lower natural IQ.

t. brainlet that can't adapt

What sense does that make?

Y is inverted
X is not

That is more logical than *normal* when dealing with analog

>there's a stick in the back of your head
>but it only applies to vertical movement somehow

>being insecure enough in your choice of control scheme you have to make both images and threads defending it

ベイスターズ

>push stick X
>look Y
This is the most retarded shit I've ever seen.

Invertfags on suicide watch

>posts non inverted controls

Go cry about steam and epic

Then why aren't your horizontal controls inverted too, you dumb faggot retard honky?

Retard

isn't that how it was in star fox 64

>having to choose rather than being equally proficient in both

why?
>doomguy
>duke nukem
>bj
>gordon freeman
>master chief
>some other guys
>none of them are airplanes nor identify as one
>control them as planes anyway

Epic shill

Single digit IQ discord tranny detected

keep saying it

Then why don't you bind lean left/right to x-axis?
Humans are not planes.

It's not forward and back, it's up and down, to look up and down.

It's called the cross button

that isn't inverted controls though

But why should I change if normal controls are perfectly fine?

Correct.

Inverted controls are only good for flying segments

You choose to use one over the other

>push the left stick up
>go forward instead of taking off the ground

>this is what invertedfags actually believe

Why cant invertedniggers grasp that up makes you look up and down makes you look down?

>B-b-but imagine there's a joystick on the back of the character's head.
You sound retarded.

you are retarded

Inverted have a slight edge because they'd be more useful in a scenario where they have to take control of an airplane. Non-inverter would just crash & kill all onboard trying to gain altitude. This is literally the only scenario where stick preference would matter since video games don't really matter at all.

That's not inverted you double retard

lmao inverted apologists absolutely BTFO
ouch

that's the point

console babbies use non inverted because it became the default on a lot of shitty console fps
true veterans use inverted.
if you masterrace it doesn't matter what you use, you will be respected for your choice

Muscles can only pull idiot.

Normal for shooters.
Inverted for flying.
Simple as.
