Jump over it when it shoots. Don't be afraid to cross up enemies. They all have pretty easy patterns. It jumps to one side and will always jump back to the center platform. So if you got hit, don't panic move, just sit there and heal if you can.

Hornet is clearly too autistic to fuck anyone.

1. You don't need to defeat some bosses right away, you can come back later (in fact, most of the shit you don't need to do in a specific order at all and you won't reach an area you can't exit unless the very ability you need to get out is in that same area). Hell most bosses in the game are optional.

2. You need a bit of that megaman boss mindset, follow patterns. Dash, dodge shit, walljump. Heal when it's safe to do so. Take some risks though, you might be closer to beating an enemy than you think by just hitting it a few more times.

3. Some charm combinations are good to get through different parts of the game. Some are straight broken. Fun thing is to figure that shit out.

Lace and Hornet alone are going to fill a fucking truck with it.

That last section with a buzzsaw at the bottom where you have to dash and instantly jump and pogo jump off the buzzsaw at the other side of that wall...

And then you do it, you're all fucking happy about it, feeling satisfied, and then those two motherfuckers try to beat your shit. I thought it would be like the white palace where there wasn't anything at the end that would make me go all the way back to the beginning if I wasn't careful but I was wrong.

I almost died to the two kingsmold. I even knew that they were there, so it wasn't shocking to me that I had a fight at the end, but I had forgotten to heal before jumping into the hole and was at three health. At least I burst one down and was able to take the other out easily after that.

He's VERY rare. The majority of people don't know he exists. Easiest way to encounter him is to destroy something and then go right back into the room. Eventually you'll catch him. Kill him and things will stay broken.

There is a world outside of the kingdom's edge. It's just that the world lacks intelligence, and its bugs don't have the enhancements granted by the wyrm/pale king.

But yeah. Outside the kingdom you'll find bugs that are like real life bugs. Instinct driven and basic.

The kingdom does grant intelligence to those who lacked it. But it's really just kingdom propaganda (or superstition maybe?) that it's the only source of it.

I mean Silksong takes place in one such other kingdom. And it's implied that there are even more of them.

Grimm is literally a puzzle boss. Once you memorize his attacks, he becomes fairly easy.

The only charm that I think is absolutely necessary is Shape of Unn. Quick Heal and Grubsong are also very useful. Here's what you should do for all of his attacks:
>Bats
This is your main chance to attack him. Jump over the first bat, shadow dash through the next ones, and hit him. Alternatively, if you're low on health, Shape of Unn shrinks your hurtbox so the bats won't hit you, so you can heal.
>Flame pillars
If you're low on health, this is a free heal. If not, you can hit him a few times.
>Dash uppercut
Dash away from him, then do your best to avoid the flame pillars.
>Dive dash
Just jump. That's it. Don't bother trying to hit him, if you mess up the timing then you'll just take contact damage, it's too risky.
>Cloak spikes
One of the most obnoxious attacks. Do your best to avoid the spikes, then heal.
>Pufferfish
Stay in the corner, do VERY light jumps over the flames. Try to land between jumps, only double jump when absolutely necessary.

Nightmare Grimm's a really well-designed boss. Very little if any randomness. Very call-and-response, but with opportunities to style. There's an easy way to dodge almost every one of his attacks and a hard way to dodge and also get a hit in.

Just pay attention to what you're doing. You probably already know how to dodge some of his attacks, but it's subconscious and when you panic you "forget". Just look at what you did when you dodged his attack, and whenever you see him do that attack, you do that exact same thing to dodge him again. Just make sure it's actually consistent - sometimes you'll "dodge" the attack but it was actually just a distance thing and that method of dodging doesn't really work all the time.

I had a period of like ten tries in a row where I completely forgot how to dodge his divekick combo even though the first time I fought him I never got hit by it once. You just have to pay attention. And if what you're doing isn't working, try something new.

The fight is only long if you make it long. You can reliably pogo both on uppercuts and on dives, yet you outright recommend skipping damage because "it's too risky". As for healing, you can get 2 heals evey time he staggers, and 1 heal every time he does spikes, with no extra charms.
Your cheese build might help to get the first kill outside of Godhome, but, once again, the poor idiot wants to do PoH. Just killing the boss isn't good enough, he needs to actually learn and practice the OPTIMAL strategy, and with the cram setup that works for the rest of the pantheon. NK is in the same bracket with Markoth and Zote, mind you.

He's obnoxious as piss. I find that your projectile is very useful, since getting too close to him is risky and it can also take out both the mooks he spawns and the exploding balloons. Whenever he summons the exploding balloons, I ALWAYS shoot my projectile to destroy them and hit him at the same time.

Also, for his attack in which he disappears and then falls from the top of the screen, I recommend actually just standing still for a little bit before moving out of the way. He tracks your movement, and even when I tried to juke him I still got hit. But if you just stand still for a little bit and then move, it won't hit you.

1. The radiance can corrupt and bug that has personality/ego, then control that bug to spread itself. It lives as an idea/dream rather than having a physical entity. The more bugs know about it, the stronger it becomes.
2. To seal radiance, a vessel needs to be completely empty without ego, no difference to a box, so the radiance cant corrupt it.
3. HK has ego either from being "impure" since the beginning, or because Pale King was too good of a dad
