1) Rejection rate of males vs rejection rate of females
2) If the above rates are different, then erformance/times/notoriety of accepted runners vs rejected runners with their genders to see if there is a viable reason for this difference
My suspicion is that a higher proportion of female applicants are accepted than male applicants, and there's just much fewer female applicants. I'd be genuinely interested to know the truth.

They've been played a lot but new tricks are still being found. A couple tricks have been found in OoT just in the last couple of weeks. And this is a game that is over twenty years old, but people are still finding new things in it.

The current OoT Any% run is already under 20 minutes, and yes it is basically smashing button inputs most of the time. It doesn't take you directly the credits though, you still have to beat Ganon. There is a way to warp straight to the credits but it's not the quickest way of finishing the game.

tons of trannies in the speedrunning scene, probably because it takes no joke a certain level of mental illness to endlessly replay the same game, map, area your entire day for months on end.
It's also a very male thing to do, competitively replaying the same thing over and over, and it's not really appealing to actual women, so the trannies stand out.
