Sekiro is like an intense tutorial game, the game is made to make you good from start to finish and throw at you things to adapt
You either get good without realizing it and things that were hard are incredibly easy at the end, or you cheese your way throught with prosthetic and running around/stabbing, so I'm not that surprised that people would die less in Sekiro while thinking the game is harder
Most people who play the game correctly die a bunch at the start/middle and on Owl2 and then kill Isshin in less than 10 tries

I beat Emma/Isshin on my 5th try, Owl2 was harder for me and Owl1 was a joke, but my point i that dying on a single boss again and again is perfectly acceptable in Sekiro, what you learn on 1 boss will be useful after, proof that is that he killed Saint Isshin on the 3rd

I did it bros, Owl 2 wasn't impossible, he was fucking fun, not as fun as Genichiro but hella fun, took me about 4 tries but every try was tons of fun, and after killing him was so confident I also shagged Corrupted Monk. Also divine realm is gorgeous

Sword Saint is really easy if you know how to play the game. I died a lot in the beginning, and Genichiro easily killed me the most out of any boss (~30 times). Genichiro forced me to learn the mechanics and I beat every boss after that within 5 tries. Stealth is useful in the beginning but just slows you down mid game onwards.

I had the opposite experience, Genichiro was a piece of piss but Sword Saint took serious practise... mostly because he's got like 50 moves and a lot of the 2nd and 3rd stage moves are designed to punish lazy habits that you developed while beating lesser bosses.
