Is the Disgaea 5 post game good and challenging? I'm really struggling to finish the story because I autistically power levelled all of my units and I'm demolishing every map with ease. The challenge bar has been raised even further from DD2 from what I hear, Baal has hit ludicrous levels of artificial difficulty at this point. But Land of Carnage should be fun if you like Disgaea postgame stuff in general. Haven't even made far in LoC myself cause I'm having so much fun creating characters with meme evilities and skills and trying to beat shit with those.

he's the most useful character in the game, he gives 100% accuracy, prevents nicks and gives 20% attack power that makes you surpass the 99m cap. You simply can't beat most of postgame and specially the final boss in the game without him.

Killia was great though. I loved the bait and switch where he was portrayed as a serious attempt at "edgy brooding cool guy" only for him to not actually be remotely edgy, and he's not so much brooding as he is just quiet and appreciates a bit of relaxation time.

I dunno, DD2 felt like it pushed for Etna a bit as well and there is the whole “he’s not his Dad but it’s not such a bad thing” theme that lies under both games.
