>Watch ANY Sekiro video
>See this shit all the fucking time
I prefer dodging to deflecting. At least there was a big punishment for spamming the dodge button.
Watch ANY Sekiro video
There’s a punishment for not blocking properly as well if you’re playing without Kuro’s Charm (which you should be).
You haven't even played the game retard
Nobody knows or cares about kuro's charm they're just gonna beat the game once and then shelf it because there's nothing else to do.
>At least there was a big punishment
There is, actually.
>have to block
>waaaah why cant i dodge roll into a attack with invincibility frames making the game look dumb
omg nigger wtf are you doing
Kuro’s charm pops up in NG+, and yeah pretty much everyone knows.
You have whats called posture damage when you block an attack instead of parrying. This type of spam usually results in a block instead of a parry so it only helps if you lose concentration for a second and can pick back up after that point.
For the record Sekiro doesnt have i frame abuse so you cant phase through attacks.
>there's nothing else to do
False. You can unlock achievements, see alternate quest endings for cool dialogue and alternate endings for deep lore.
>doesn't have i frame abuse
Jump through the demon's ground swipe and tell me you're not i framing through his whole body.
>caring about achievements
>NG+
yeah that's what I said, nobody knows or cares
>achivements
losers only club
>lore
nobody cares when the actual game is too repetitive to enjoy
Except 3/4 endings lock out certain end game bosses. So it definitely worth replaying. Also the game isn't too hard to 100%/Plat.
Those arent i frames. Thats hit boxes and damage boxes not overlapping.
it's not too hard to masturbate your little dick either, doesn't mean people want to do it but you go have fun
Jumping has already been confirmed to have I-frames but they are no where as forgiving as roll frames in soulsborne.
>watch any dark souls video
>see this shit all the time
I prefer deflecting to blocking. At least there was a big punishment for spamming the deflect button.
>spam parry
>win
This game isn't that hard
Yet somehow so many people are having so much trouble with it.
While I enjoyed the game, I did not care enough to go back through and do any of that shit
>spams the block button
>doesn't deflect anyway
I don't know why they even bother. At this rate they might as well firmly hold down the button and block normally. Because they're obviously playing with Kuro's charm. Otherwise they wouldn't be spamming in the first place.
>Sekiro doesnt have i frame abuse
I don't know what exactly you meant here by "abuse", but dodge in Sekiro definitely has iframes. I dodge THROUGH Owl's shuriken chase all the time. Even dodged Owl 2's long vertical slam in place once, not to the side, just forward dodged right into it.
The window is just much tighter than in Souls, as it should be. And it doesn't interrupt the enemy combos, unlike deflect, so you'd end up getting hit by the next attack, if the enemy's doing a combo.
>grinding the last skills
Kill me.
>only 1.9% on PSN
>3.3% on Steam
Oof. Why are console players so casual?
He didnt parry. Look at his posture meter at the bottom.
If you spam parry then you end up just blocking normally.
>At least there was a big punishment for spamming the dodge button
Did you even play dark souls 3?
This is a Sekiro thread, dumdum, not a DS thread.
if you actually played the game you'd know that that wobbly sword shit is punished. You won't get any proper deflects, and they'll do far more posture damage to you then you will to them.
note that he blocks instead of deflecting because spamming doesnt work.
this
op is a faggot

>webm shows the guy beating the last boss of the game.
>webm shows the guy blocking instead of deflecting
It's the shinobi way
I did this too. I stopped after I saw how it fucked my posture because I never deflected but just blocked.
>webm shows the guy got to the final boss of the game while blocking instead of deflecting
waiting for the seethe and cope replies because you've got nothing better to say.
I keep doing it by mistake when I always expect a flurry of attacks.
You iframe through the initial portion until you're in the air where you can't be hit by sweeps, how does this not make sense to you.
He's talking about how he prefers the dodge roll system of souls to the deflect mechanic of sekiro. That's what I gathered at least.
>seethe and cope
Yikes.
>because you've got nothing better to say
Because that's the entire topic of this thread, you dumdum. You're the only one here thinking beating the game is some sort of achievement.
The points: the wobbly sword isn't some secret overpowered technique that lets anyone perfect parry any enemy attack in the game. It's just something bad players while panicking that sometimes works. More often doesn't though.
>do awesome edgy anime bullshit and barely kill 1 basic enemy
>btfo and murdered because 1 other mook nearby to fuck up your tard level animation lock
>that'll be 4 spirit emblems plus tip btw~
Thanks miyazaki, I love battle arts 2.0
No idea
Oh I'm going to throw up. Holy shit I thought this article was just "I can't really git gud so I just cheat engined so I could beat it and wrap the game up" which honestly would be fine. It's their perogative who care. BUT THEY'RE ACTUALLY CALLING THE BEST FIGHT IN THE FUCKING GAME BULLSHIT
LIKE IT'S BROKEN OR WHOLLY UNFAIR
DID THEY GET *unzips gun*'ED
DID THEY NEVER LEARN LIGHTNING COUNTER
Fun fact: the author of that article co-authored a boss strategy guide before writing that article
I found learning the deflect system and actually getting good at it far more satisfying than the lame roll-fest Dark Souls 3 turned out to be.
I think this is the most natural way to learn an opponent's moves it's only slightly better than holding. Obviously the first time you enter a fight you're not going to know every single attack an enemy has, you should feather until you're more comfortable and then you start blocking properly. Otherwise your post is just saying you should die until you figure it out or hope you magically know all of a bosses moves. Feathering racks up against the player really badly really fast but it's a good way to increase how much time you're allotted to observe the opponent.
if he has time to spam that he could have got one or two hits in
