Great atmosphere.
Not Diablo 2/3.

avoid the florescent green zombies like the plague. just skip the level or restart and generate a new dungeon.

The most anxious and comfy atmosphere that has ever been put into a game. The overwhelming feeling that everything could burn at the blink of an eye, the amount of death going on, the absolute hopelessness. This game scared me as a kid but I played anyway, it is unlike anything else and has since been bastardized. Just sit back, enjoy the game for what it is, and you will be on the edge of your seat.

Sorcerer is the only good class and only one with a fun playstyle. Rest are much worse and have outdated combat.

I think they're called "Black Death". They remove 1 hp from you permanently when they hit you.

Poison my niggah, literally destroys your shit early on. Part of the challenge tho.
Wizard was honestly easiest to clear the game, I just preferred melee and it was way more satisfying. Id use some scrolls and I had the best of both worlds.

Old-school kino, and the best game of its franchise. D2 is loved more but it was inferior. D3 shit all over it with its retcons, gameplay, story, etc.
