What monitor do you use for gaming?
What monitor do you use?
Acer Predator XB1
why does nobody like talking about monitors here. Will /g/ give better answers
>why does nobody talk about technology in a video game board. will technology board give better answers
They are just going to tell you to go back to Yea Forums for being a consumer whore, ricer retard.
i too have an acer predator monitor.
but they suck dont buy them
no place to talk about monitors then, shame.
i use 2 benQ RL2455S not to expensive and they work just fine
I really like mine so far, there's an annoying firmware bug that means you need to restart it sometimes when switching resolution but other than that it's pretty good
had a stuck pixel 30 days after getting the thing, luckily some pressure fixed that.
some guy i know had 2 of his acer monitors have pixel issues on delivery so if 3 monitors from the same manufacturer all have pixel problems summin aint right
Is 24 inch the sweet spot bros?
I just bought a 27 inch and I have a problem with having to tilt or look far left/right to see the edges of the screen. I previously had a 22 inch and that one is too small for 1080p, the text is tiny.
Should I get a 24 inch 1080p screen or a 1440p screen?
BenQ BL2420PT
It's alright
I have a 29" ultrawide LG and a 40" TV hooked up to my pc. The 29" is really good for working, should've bought a 24" 144hz+ for gaming tho
Predator, the 1440p 144hz IPs version. Love this monitor. Got lucky and the light bleed is minimal too on the sides.
Benq PD3200Q
I can't use inchlet 24'' screens anymore.
No, it's pitifully small.
Get a 32'' or 43''
Philips BDM4065UC
Waiting for the ROG STRIX XG438Q
Having my IRL FOV full of screenspace is just amazing and I don't play online shooters anyway.
Samsung CH32G70, VA qled 1440p 144Hz.
It's really good when it's not broke, had to go through three monitors of the same model before getting a functioning one.
first had the screen literally smashed
second had an entire horizontal line of dead pixels
third time the charm.
This guy knows what's up.
why 24 inch though. what's wrong with gaming on the 29 inch
An unexceptional 1440p 60hz IPS one. Panel lottery was kind to me though, pretty uniform backlight and zero bad pixels.
Ones I fished out of a dumpster near bestbuy.
Forgot to add that the 29" is a 75hz, nice for slow games but ghosting really bothers me in fps.
not really.
I just use my 46" tv. Works for me.
Some kogan offbrand shit pic related
Depends on how far you like to have your screen, 21-27 can work out depending on that in my opinion. 24" 1440p would probably be good but there's only like two of them and only one of them is good - the XB270HU. If you get a desk mount and position it properly a 27" display probably will work out well. Personally I'd either get a benq xl2540/xl2546 for competitive gaming, a PG279Q (or a PG27UQ if you have a ton of money) for mainly singleplayer gaming, or a PG278QR for something inbetween those. I like to play singleplayer games at around 120 fps, and multiplayer games at 240 so that's partially what those are based on.
Yeah I have the same one older but ocd to 75 the ghosting sucks it's a 7 year old panel with factory overdrive on the newer ones
I have a ViewSonic XG2703-GS.
I fell for the g-sync meme.
what do you mean fell for it. It's not worth it to you?
Lol enjoy your ghosting
Not your fault nvidia sucks ass and freesync took forever to get cheap
dell d2719ghf. it cheap.
Some cheap Viewsonic I got in 2013 during black friday off Amazon. VA2246 whatever.
Has shitty color banding in some games/software but otherwise, its a monitor.
