His portrayal of OOT fanboys was dead on though. They still seethe and post about his video 10 years later. Even though a lot of his points were dumb and he actually ignored the real flaws of the game (like a big empty field taking up half the game's area) it was Arin who made it okay for people to actually question OOT's position as a 10/10 game. For that alone I consider him based as fuck.

OoT is overrated as fuck but Arin hardly gets to the heart of it; all he does show is what an ADHD riddled impatient contrarian manchild he is. If you haven't watched Grumps to find this out, it's also made clear here that he doesn't pay attention to text in games, as he gets a bunch of facts wrong (the plot of Zelda 1, Link's reason for finding the Master Sword in LttP, who gave Link the letter to Death Mountain in OoT, etc). He also contradicts arguments made within the video and those in previous Sequelitis videos.

You change the formula so many times it becomes dry. It gets to the point where you need a different formula altogether.
Which rarely ever happens. Usually they just change the formula until the formula itself lacks creativity and just yields easy money.
I give props to the Zelda series for changing a formula for so long and still managing to survive at all but it's doomed to either become repetitive or just outright die without becoming something almost completely different than the usual Zelda series.
Arin's also a sellout that's starting to lack the ability of repeatedly selling out. His spark is already long gone.
