If Sakurai's words are to be believed, Nintendo were the ones who wanted Joker revealed at the VGAs. What in the fucking christ were they thinking? By hinging even non-Joker/Mementos content (like the gameplay modes and inevitable Mii costumes) on Joker's release, they've screwed themselves of the chance to have anything to share with people in the meanwhile.

I'm not completely discounting that possibility, but it seems weird that they'd go that way. For one, they haven't revealed anything about her. Having her completely playable in Smash before her own game would be weird. At least if they go with a genderswapped joker it's still technically the same person

The way Atlus has publicized this and the P5R reveal makes me not want to get it at all. One tease is fine, but 5 months of teases is fucking stupid. Show something instead of more dates or don’t announce it. It’s fucking irritating and not in a hype building way. More so in an “I was already kinda disappointed in P5 but thought the rerelease would help a lot but now I’m thinking they just don’t have any ideas” kind of way.

We've got less than two weeks of April left and with the fucking Vidya Blockbuster that Smash is, I really doubt they'd start the marketing push a few days before he releases. Especially with how little has been shown off, I find it difficult to believe Sakurai would be dragging his ass this much on one character unless it was out of his hands
