Share some act 2 stories, just finished it up in my playthrough
I dont think I'll ever be as hyped as I was unexpectedly summoning giganigga when I hit lvl 10 summoning and beat the shit outta the advisor with him

That entire blood island was pretty fun
How? Wasn't it optional?
You can leave reapers coast as soon as you hit 3 source points, 20 minutes if you know what you're doing.
I'm on my 1st run so I'm hitting everything. That pain demon was the best boss so far, love when games fuck with your party like that and you actually have to figure shit out in the middle of combat
Almost everything in act 2 was optional, divinity gives you tons of freedom right off the bat
It gives you freedom the moment you break out of the bed on the ship. Took me like 10min breaking barrels before i got kicked off to fort joy
>doing that elf ritual
>every time I kill one of the guardians one my my party falls shortly after
>comes down to red prince and last guardian
>both on last hit
>his turn
>flurry
>misses EVERY hit cuz he got blinded by beast right before he died
>crit on all in
>jizz in pants then treat the prince to some nice gear and introduce him to his waifu
>tells me hes become close friends over the journey
Prince is so fucking well written, most PCs are but hes just too good
Teleporting especially, half my party can fuck with enemies positions and I fucking love it.
Getting items in trapped areas is ezpz with it too, it's too goddam good
>Find the burning witch on the cliff near Bloodmoon
>Engaging her head-on is suicide
>Devise a cunning plan
>Make Lohse immortal for two rounds before entering combat
>She engages the witch alone, gets blasted and survive at 1HP
>Cast teleport on the witch to transport her to the beach below
>Principal, OC undead paladin and Ifan are right there with all the knockdown moves you can think of
>Bully the witch to death
>Only casualty is Lohse dying to fire damage after her protection ran out
>Flawless victory
how do you build a party that s not all centered around the same damage type without gimping yourself ?
Run an entire party of summoners since they can switch damage types?
Is it worth replaying game with the Definitive Edition?
I dropped original during act 2 during this whole_screen_is_on_fire fight just couldnt beat it
>not learning early on that everything might as well just be on fire permanently.
>party formation each far corner
>Revival Idol on character she always hits with that crazy first fireball
>Bully to death
Every fight in the game can be broken easily with the correct formation.
Sum/geo
Sum/aero
Sum/pyro
Sum/hydro
Kinda takes the challenge out of tactician, great party for an honour run.
If I get a mod with that allows for a bigger party and add Sum/Nec to that can I summon captain planet?
it all goes downhill after act 2 jsyk
>scour fort joy for EVERY SINGLE oil and poison barrel
>place them strategically around the fight with the pope or w/e
>blast them to bits
>watch as the game becomes extremely immersive when my PC catches on fire
I don't see why you couldn't just get a mod to summon captain planet anyway.
I always liked to get her to go fight Jahan and just watch him pulverise her
lmao
I shot that badass witch ghost from as high up and as far away as I could get with ballistic shot. It felt like a command and conquer ion cannon.
>giganigga
that fight isn't really made any easier, just way less laggy
the amount of stuff they added or fixed didn't really warrant an obligatory playthrough but i did it anyway just to see
Don't you fucking remind me of that fuckfest.
>Sourcerer being held hostage, he is going to summon some shit and fuck everything up, isn't he?
>turns out the whole oil platform wants everyone's ass now
>a billion oil shits
>Set everything on fire
>a billion FIRE shits spawn
>framerate goes negative, turn takes an hour to finish
>ended up just teleporting that faggot to the escape trigger to avoid the fight
Are u niggers actually playing this on 1998 pentium2 or something?
I used decay on her with my necro then the totems couldn't heal her anymore but I could so I did 'heal' her to death.
This, there was barely any fps drop and I'm still on my regular 1050.
The aesthetics/engine combination sucked sadly. I wouldn't mind either of those choices, but the combination was just a poor match. The engine itself didn't lend itself well to highly detailed designs since it made them look even more potato and playdough than it would otherwise, and yet the aesthetics of OS2 is even more fancy than OS1.
