gameplay loop, individual characters,artstyle,music,world building and even the blades you get thru gatcha are so well designed, the story is cliche jrpg shit,all and all, i liked the game

To sum it up, it's nothing new really. I'd suggest playing Xenoblade Chronicles 1 instead since 2 is basically a lesser version in every aspect except objective graphical fidelity and arguably the combat
XCX at least had giant robots to pilot, this game doesn't have anything to pull me in really

Right now i have about 10 games on switch, thinking of getting bayonetta 2 and xenoblade 2. Both are not really my type of games, though i love dmc and the first xenoblade. Those dialogues and cutscenes are really fucking cringy, i must say.

It's pretty shaky at the start and has some retarded design decisions (like the fucking gacha crap) holding it back, but once it finds its footing it's a great game.

Otherwise they shouldn't be happening that much. Has your Switch been on for a really long time? I remember that causing some framerate issues for people back when the game first came out.

Are you in Gormott Province, the grassy/forest continent? You'll get some sslowdowns there but the rest of the game is pretty smooth
