Smash Ultimate 3.0 wish list thread

I'm hoping for Buffs to Rosaluma the most, but these are probably guaranteed.
I'd like Marth to actually be a viable alternative to Lucina. Kind of ludicrous that Lucina only does 1.5% less damage across the entire length of her blade a tipper and her kill potential is arguably better because non-tippered attacks from Marth do less damage and KB.
Third big wish is to stop all the nair trains. It's actually less input than the already braindead uair spam in kerfuffle.

GIVE US THE OLD PERFECT SHIELDS BACK

Fuck this new "parry" bullshit It makes approaching projectile-focused characters even more of a fucking chore. Before you could rush them and plink off every projectile between dash inputs and gain some ground, it didn't slow down your approach much. Now you have this super-slow parry animation every time instead that both slows your approach down, gives your opponent an extra split second to react and does fucking nothing for you since the parry does nothing on a projectile if the opponent isn't right in your face.

Give us the old perfect shield if used when the move hits and keep the parry on-release if it must stay, but holy shit I fucking hate that stupid parry.

Parrys are an overall letdown. Just apply the slowdown with a perfect shield and you have a tool that's able to deal with spam and be used skillfully for punishes.

Revert UpTilt back to its state of kill move from Smash 4

Its just worse in almost every situation. If you're not right in their face to follow-up, it does fucking nothing for you but slow you down. Like its nice in those situations, but it makes approaching projectiles so, so much worse.

I'm tire of winning neutral 8 times out of 10 and still loose, also extra buff that would actually make her high tier

Isabelle's Jab is far from the worst Jab in the game. If anything it's among the best

The biggest mistake is that parries don't reflect projectiles

I miss the kill power but its faster and generally more useful now, and his smashes aren't hot garbage anymore and can kill reliably.

I want more bosses and boss battles!
Oh and my main to be buffed whatever just give me the Arena back.

Input lag in Ultimate is awful. Other smashes felt so responsive, but Ultimate feels sticky and encumbered.

Even with better Smashes, it's important for Duck Hunt to have this sort of option where he doesn't have to commit too hard. It just goes toe to toe with the traps he sets up & the options he forces. He really doesn't have that on the ground anymore and it's hurting his whole shtick more than you'd think

I don't even necessarily want to reflect them, I just want to shield them and keep moving past them like we could before without getting stuck in place for a stupid animation that does absolutely nothing beneficial for me.

If anything is wrong with Uair its that Dthrow doesn't lead into it anymore with any sort of reliability. Duck Hunt is all-around better but obviously could stand some adjustment.

how did you even come up with this? or at what percent this is true, 200%?
also, jab on block is pitiful, not enough shieldstun or shieldpush to be safe, any character can punish you jab on shield. Isabelle's Jab is only good to jab lock.

I can't find prominent use of the Jab on shield, so I can't answer you about that and may have been misinformed. However, I double checked and there are some kill confirms from Jab 1 into DSmash starting at around 130%.

Light characters that can't kill just aren't very good

I think a little bit of extra damage on her attacks would balance that
