It's clear MK11 is a finished product. Like it or not, character dlc is simply what all fighting games do these days.

There's something I really don't like that much about the direction they went in in terms of character designs this time around, so many characters swamped in line covered armor and random accessories that just make the designs seem too busy. Hopefully theres some more classic MK designs you can unlock.

You get to make choices during the story.
1st choice is during chapter 3, you play as either Shao Khan or Kotal Khan and determine the ruler of Outworld.
2nd choice is in chapter 6 as young Liu & young Lao on who to give the keys of time to Kronika or Korrupted Raiden.
3rd choice is in chapter 9 as Hanzo & Kuai on whether to pursue Noob or stop Frost.
Final choice is 3 ways in chapter 12 as Jacqui & Cassie side with Young Raiden or Korrupt Raiden or Revenant Liu Kang.

I'll play. I'm a little down Mileena isn't in the main roster. I hope she'll be DLC down the line, but I'm kontent with Jade and Kitana, since I used them in previous games. If they do bring back Mileena as DLC, I do hope they don't tone her down like they did the other females. Her being overtly sexual is part of her kharacter, so making her more conservative would make no sense.

There is convoluted point in the 8th chapter where Hanzo and Kuai realize that if they kill Frost with Kronika being in this timeline it will create a time paradox and everyone will be caught in it. Well they've had their names changed since the beta. Unless another patch is coming I doubt it. Honestly the quicker they allow real customs in all modes the better. That is how you deal with NRS zoning though. Projectiles don't clash so you can't have a tug of war, instead you trade chip damage until one is clearly out pacing the other. Characters often have a large range of projectiles so moving in is a constant guessing game. Pressure is a lot worse, so getting in isn't always as rewarding and you can only get big damage in a krushing blow combo. The game more often resets you to neutral where getting in starts again. Teleports are a necessary conclusion of all this, your character will do significantly worse without one

I'm not a big mk guy but I preordered it on PC already because this is one of the few fighting games to come out where from watching videos alone, I can name 5 or 6 characters I could see myself having fun with and maining.
