The worst part about WoV is that I don't think the health loss on losing your elite shields can trigger anything like Tougher Times or even the First Aid Kit. Killing the wrong enemy, which is impossible to avoid after a teleporter is triggered, basically means you get 10 seconds of slightly more health and then immediately get nerfed to 50% until you can get healed back to full. I have no idea why an item like this would be in the game if it's intentional.

Even if it didn't guarantee your death it's not even that good for a red item. Slowing guys,, dealing an aoe dot, and getting extra health for a few seconds after you kill an elite sounds more like a green item.

Yeah. The lunar items and sequencing are fun, but you can't do then all the time. Basically every other roguelite that has meta currency uses it to buy things outside of the context of the run (e.g. characters, skins). It feels bad spending it for a single run.

I think a better implementation would be to make lunar coins not carry over between runs, just levels. Give a small chance of getting them like normal, and also give a guaranteed one every loop.

Some people get so far that all enemies stop spawning. This is because the game chooses enemies based on the difficulty setting, and if you get far enough in, even overloading worms are deemd 'too easy' and thus nothing is spawned. A more detailed description is in the official RoR2 Discord.

Getting overloaded initially isn't that much of an issue because shields recharge ridiculously quickly anyway, unless you're directly in the line of fire against a blazing it really isn't that big an issue at all.
Losing the overload is a bigger issue, unless you have enough healing to offset it instantly, which can easily be accomplished with a couple leeching seeds and scythes in the late game.
The DPS from overloading more than makes up for the risk.

Maybe it's just me, but the fact that it shows EVERY interactable object on the map actually hurts it because it just floods the screen with question mark blocks. It might be better later in the game when you have higher mobility (but like you said, there are certainly better items to have later in the game), but early game it just shows too much info

It's pretty alright on MErc with tougher times. You basically just pop it when you use eviscirate on top of an enemy since the dots don't disapear on the enemy but you are invulnerable.

If you're really having trouble with it, you can play on Drizzle.

Failing that, simply minimal fucking around. Grab 1-4 items and hit the teleporter, then clean up some chests nearby with the money made during the charging. If you're confident with the items you have especially in regards to mobility, while looping you should rush the teleporter and then round up the chests.

Syringes help alliviate han-d’s slow animations mostly, making his attacks way safer. You can even stunlock some enemies with enough of them.
Plus, it helps your DPS grow faster than just going straight into crowbars. A couple are nice for oneshotting small enemies but falter agaisnt bosses and big enemies at the beginning, but during the first loop I’m getting syringes and knives. Oneshotting everything comes later

Yeah, honestly, the duration could probably use some tweaking, as for a lot of characters, cast time alone means you can't abuse your infinite abilities. It's definitely not a great red, but if its base duration was buffed it could be a pretty neat "bandolier on steroids"

Crowbars were still useful on certain characters to make sure you could one-shot certain enemies. Han-D for example could one-shot flying lemurians and most inportantly the temple bugs with just one or 2. Sniper himself of course had the best use for them but stacking knives was generally a better idea.
Then you get to lategame and crowbars start increasing damage from your other items and everything starts dying

I just use X to instakill all small and medium enemies for free with no frame delay. Use the big slow hammer (with the attack speed boost ability) to smash the big slow bois. For the first 2 rounds I instakill the boss with Thqwibs, then switch to the time stop watch to kill any future bosses. It's honestly an effortless playstyle for me, much easier than syringe HAN-D.

So currently my Brother is on a 3 hour plus game on regular difficulty. and the Bosses seem to have stopped spawning for him. No regular mobs spawn anymore, only giant imps,lizards and worms. He is pretty much unkillable at this point and his build just destroys anything within seconds. Anyone had the same problem with bosses. Also on some levels mobs don't spawn at all.

Memes aside everyone has encountered this, the long story short is the game wants to spawn in these super tough enemies to fuck your shit up, but it can't because they're not in the game yet so it choose to spawn nothing because it thinks regular enemies are no longer a match for you.
So you've "won" the game all you can do is kill yourself and start over

Nothing in particular, they're up there with Gas Cans and Will o the Wisps where they do % of your base damage that scales with stacking. So if you get a ton of them, just one of them going off does like 3000% base damage. Will o the Wisp gets even more busted, though, especially if you have a sentient meat hook or a cube.

Blighted enemies dont exist yet, so once you hit too far into the game the game stops working.
