K. Rool rules the kremlings through intimidation and threats, views all of them as disposable, and is laser focused on his hatred of Donkey Kong. 64 showed that he is perfectly willing to let himself and his entire army die a horrible death if DK goes with him.

Smash August Direct was the best game marketing piece ever put out

It's amazing how a character that hasn't been in a game for a decade managed to get more hype then Sonic, Megaman or the previous gold standard that was Snake.

Race to the finish and break the targets, including that racing mini game in Ultimate classic mode, is fun.

I can't hink of any remaining bad guys other than Dr.Eggman, Dr. Wily,Seporoth, M.Bison and Medusa and she's never getting in, smash is canon to kid icarus and Medusa is dead twice over now. Zelda had some good supplementary villains to choose from but they're all past the sell by date. Can't be made into easy echoes either. There's also DJ Octavio, who I think is absolutely fitting and Splatoon deserves another rep. If the Plasm Wraith ends up in Pikmin 4, I hope it finds its way to Smash one day. Like Sonic, that franchise is now a 10 year Smash vet that's still alive but only has one character.
