I love Gungeon and genuinely think that even with its problems it's one of the best roguelites ever. Hate WoL even though the combat is pretty fun, the level design just really put me off for some reason and I felt it was anemic on the amount of content. I tried Dead Cells for a while but wasn't impressed. The idea of a roguelite metroidvania was intriguing, but I feel like it misses the point since the randomized level design is never as interesting as a handcrafted map would be. Didn't really grab me so I don't care about it.

The Fable games always shone brightest in their writing, and Fable 3’s was the best. Best plot arc, best characters, and most memorable moments overall, both hilarious and poignant.
