why is it so boring?
Horizon
Because even though it has like 50 mechanics they only spent ten mins on making them part of the game.
The game is vast but the content is shallow.
what 50 mechanics are you talking about?
running silently?
Because it made by a garbage studio who don’t know how to make good games.
because you are big gay
because it's good by normal standards
which is why it's boring
It's another virtual golf game.
why would normies like this
Not enough mounts, not enough melee options, no separate melee combat style for the humans, no other melee weapons, stealth is fucking shit in the game.
makes witcher 3 fun
Does anyone else just think the scale for the world in Horizon is just.... off? The map looks huge. And Alloy seems small compared to the geography around her in game. And yet traversing from one side to the other doesn't really take that long at all. The game really fucks with my head because of it, like everything in the world is designed to look bigger than it actually is?
you arent playing it right
you need to tag enemies with the focus
Because it's a rehash of every similar game you've played and its novelty comes from 'robots in prety lands' and 'stronk heroine' which are basically story and context-related things only.
Gameplay is the same tepid shit as it's ever been and guerilla have never been great at that.
Cause it's a walking simulator, and walking simulators are boring.
In my top 5 this gen.
Can you explain why? I just got it and I'm not feeling it yet.
Full retard you just went.
>it doesn’t have the same shire over the whole world
>it doesn’t have the same enemies over all the world
>weapons doesn’t break after a few hits
>can’t climb anything
>doesn’t have a 97+score
>doesn’t have a goty award
>doesn’t have a worthless 20$ dlc
>base game it’s less than 60$
>game doesn’t run on 480p with sub20fps with drops
>game isn’t comfy
It's for girls
same actually, I think this is because the map looks much bigger than the actual in-game world
>better graphics than any game
>better combat than any game
>better story than any game
>better DLC than any game
Keep coping
copepost
>>better graphics than any game
>>better combat than any game
>>better story than any game
>>better DLC than any game
wow it's literally the best game ever then, i dunno why nobody gives a fuck about it
(you)
nice b8
I just started playing it for the first time a bit ago, now I'm right before the final battle. I'd say it's a 7/10 game.
+World is very pretty to look at
+Camera movement is very smooth
+Premise is neat, learning about the old world is cool
+Robots look cool
-Combat gets stale quickly, especially melee combat, which is worthless after a while and has no strategy
-Inventory management is a pain, which is saying something since there aren't even unique or varied weapons to find
-Looting isn't fun since you just get junk to craft with, which you basically never need
-Characters pretty much all suck, Aloy is ugly, monotone, and boring
-SJW influence is mild, but ever-present
-Stealth is shit, only one special kind of grass allows stealth, otherwise you're totally visible, stealth attacks don't work half the time, missing a shot alerts everyone where you are anyway
-Music is meh
-Wonky climbing controls sometimes
Not as comfy as Skyrim, not as creative as BotW, just a decent game that could improve a lot.
Yeah the inventory system is trash and the weapons suck, otherwise i have no complaints
I'm playing it right now, 6 hours in, it's.. okay. I usually try to finish games, but playing this kind of feels like wasting time, even though playing NG++++++++++++++++++ in nioh or sould didn't.
Beautiful combat with amazing animation and lighting. Decent story, with some excellent moments, some not so excellent. Some good side quests, some shitty. Shitty protagonist but there are some great characters as you go. Mostly just fighting the robots is great and leveling up actually lasts to the end. I wasn't OP until the end. The DLC is excellent. I love the art style. Basically if you're just starting you haven't done shit. The story starts crappy but I don't see how anyone could not get past the kid part and the gay trials and not love it. Basically it's all great after Roth or whatever his name is dies.
Basically gameplay, graphics, art design, sound design are the best parts and the story is serviceable and even cool at parts.
There is so many and they are so fucking bare bones I forget most of them because they didn't matter.
Horizon is a mediocre game. The worst fate for a video game. At least bad games are remembered.
I felt like you honestly, I played the game for 2 days and got bored and quit, came back to it 2 months later and enjoyed it more
Also "puzzles" are braindead easy. The turn-the-locks puzzles are inane, and don't even make sense with the lore. Also you walk too slow with the focus on.
>Horizon is a mediocre game. The worst fate for a video game. At least bad games are remembered.
agreed
I can't say I don't like it, but at the same time I don't feel like playing it.
Got forget after botw cane out
Dunno, I liked it. Won't replay it tho, but I did not regret getting it
Because it is the same caliber of a Ubi-tier open world game, but with even more limitations like only being able to climb yellow shit smeared on rocks.
He's right you normies faggot
>Feminists want a power fantasy Mary Sue character
Showing their hypocrisy yet again
sad
it's a fun game. it has a good story. it looks good. it plays well. list continues.
Is it like EarthBound's?
lots of games do this. messing with the scale of everything to make the world seem bigger. I don't know if there's a single game that has mountains on a realistic scale. racing games do this with motion blur to make it seem like you're going faster than you really are.
