Finished part 6 last night.
I wouldn't say I liked it as much as part 5, but I don't get why people usually shit on it. The plot was always moving forward and I thought the characters were alright. Plus it was getting so fucking weird by the end that it became really enjoyable.

Joseph is my favorite Jojo and I thought I hated how 4 handled his character back when I first read it but around the time that the Shizuka Joestar stuff happen that I realized that it actually got his character right and what happened was a fairly natural development for the character, even after his character developers Joseph Joestar isn't a serious or even particularly moral person outside of dire circumstances, he's impulsive, thrill and/or pleasure seeking, and self-serving until somebody good is in legitimate trouble. So when it comes to something like a quick fucc with a Japanese QT before you head on home to your wife who's aging faster than you are he's all game. But when it comes to a lost stand using infant who no longer has anyone to take care of her not only will a senile and fragile Joseph do everything in his power to save her, he'll personally adopt her on the spot regardless of what his old roastie of a wife Suzie Q thinks about it

And also think about the circumstances of Joseph and Suzie Q's marriage and how marriages like that usually play out.

Even an old and matured Joseph still only takes serious things seriously and so stuff like his impulse marriage to Suzie Q aren't of massive consequence to him. If it's the potential end of the world, or if his daughter or a baby are in danger he'll step the fuck up, but otherwise fuck it.
