Nah, man. GW daggers are easy enough to make when you start that its still good to make for dark and kinda wind.

Water CAN do damage, you just arent even close to finishing your grid at all. You need stuff from the Europa raid and to FLB all your weapons.

Europa isnt really a damage dealer, she's your "dont die" button

In magna? You can use one if you want. Water staff already has a lot of cap up if you get Europa Staves though.

Staff water will cap with a finished grid and the correct characters (That being Europa + Lily) An extra drang ball is kind of side grade since you already have Europa Harps/Staves but if you're looking for something to throw in a slot, it definitely is an upgrade to have like one. I wouldn't waste the dama on it until you have more and can transition to Varuna though.

Now that you guys mention it, I've drawn Parazonium a couple of times now. Is there something more important to spend my dumbass ingots on before I consider FLBing it?

After I got most of my waifus it got really easy to save.

Parazonium is a one-off weapon, it only gets used as a Main Hand, so you can combine them if you want. It needs to be FLBd for it to be useful, though. If you're a magna player who isnt considering moving to primal anytime soon, parazonium is a good weapon to consider using damas on, yeah.

Just gotta stay low and have some form of HP management or damage mitigation. S.Zoi has drain on her conjunction which helps. D.Jeanne's 3 gives her invincibility for 5 turns. Vira has a heal on 3. The more total HP you have the better chance you have at staying safe as well.

Raids, especially if you can host. Even low level ones drop useful stuff like SR weapons and anima. The anima can be used to host the higher level ones, which give you more SR fodder, plus SSR fodder and Omega weapons for your grids.

I don't have much good information on it. Cygames started threatening to ban people who use third-party tools last year, banned a few hundred people a few times (probably not for Viramate), and Viramate's dev got spooked over it.

Should I be picking my summon grid based on stats or utility? FLB farmable SSRs give you a bit more HP or whatever, but stuff like Shiva, Alexiel, and Bahamut seems like it's better to always have around even at 0*.

The 3 features I used were Favorite Summons, Bookmarks to host raids, and quick skill buttons.

Favorite summons created a new tab in the "select support summon" page before a fight, that would list all Favorited summons if they were available, it would only show 1, and it would be the 1 with the highest uncap, allowing you to more quickly select the best summon available so you can get into the fight faster.

Raid Bookmarks, managing and using the built in favorites is a fucking pain. Viramate had a built in auto hover menu that allowed you to select the raid you wanted to go to quickly rather than go through a half dozen loading screens to get to the raid you wanted to host.

Quick skills allowed you to queue skills from any party member with a single click, the normal requires at least 2 for the first one, and 3+ any time you needed to switch a character. And you need to switch characters a lot, because it's not often optimal to use all 1 characters abilities, then another, then another, you have to use your entire teams abilities in a certain order, forcing you to switch between them multiple times in a single turn. It also have mouse-over tooltips without having to disable tooltips+re-enable skill confirmation each time.

Starting out you'll probably use them as stat sticks if anything. Eventually though as you start getting more summons you should think about utility and what you need or want.

Honestly this. I just got past Chapter 70 and the story made a significant comeback for me.
I can't pinpoint what changed, but they actually made me give more of a shit about the characters.

Story structure helped a lot where you no longer were just justifying monsters every fucking part and made the pacing even more of a chore. On top of the story being very rinse and repeat for what like the first 40 chapters? Since it was go here deal with this primal, go here deal with this primal and so on. Only decent part was Black Knight’s character and even then it wasn’t something spectacular. Act 2 has more unique fights way less filler fights, better cast overall with leading their best character in my opinion Cain as the first guy you meet, genuine development for your existing party and gave us a look at more of the world and gave a proper clear antagonist too. I will say that the act 3 is already pretty annoying to play since it feels like it straight up just threw out all of act 2’s characters out the window with only a single passing mention once. I’m also pretty sure I can still use Cain and Rein for the first time doing those missions despite this story mode locking me out of Lecia the majority of it and let me use Orchid possibly a total of 5 fucking times. No reason why Cain and Rein shouldn’t be with you during act 3. Feels like they’re hurting the story more than improve it with their absences

From a story standpoint it made sense that Lecia got left behind in the skydom shift. She did sort of have the Enforcers to run, which was even more important to have order maintained in the collapse of the Erste Empire.
But it sure has fucked her out of like 1/3 of the grub story now. Her dad is back in town and should officially order her back onto the crew, though, with that dipshit buttdevastated angry battle-rager swordsman nemesis guy having been spotted again.

I don't know about all your shit, that's a lot of stones. But uncapping a few in the meantime might be worth it unless you're really patient.

Party comp matters but you strength is gonna come from you weapons. As for your characters

Yuel and Ghanda. Percival is solid. Magisa has decent utility. Use Therese for short fights or Ilsa for solo content. Flaretato is you wanna fuck over everyone. Those with a 5* should hit 100 when they can though since they're pretty much needed at this point.

Stick Grea and Altair in there. Use Silva is you want one big dick ougi every now and then. Cuc has a really good kit for what she is. Charlotta is pretty flexible and will last you a while. Aqours' are also a solid pick.

I dunno. Sieg/Eustace/Cag I guess? If you wanna try to run Halle you can attempt to protect her with Yugu or Yaia

Corntato is a solid attacker. Yuel will put in work with her plain damage for a while. Yurius is busted. Metera and Gawain are ok picks as well.

I hope you got the item to 5* Sandals. Run him and Albert. Seruel is useful and you'll hate it. Jeanne is good for solo content. Metera is also pretty good.
You can also run a sword team with Sandal, Albert and Grape/Seruel/Levin Sluts, or a one turn team with Robomi, Maids and Naoise

Vampy is really strong with her 5*. S.Zoi really shines once you get a claw grid up and running. Azazel is strong but he needs to land his debuffs. You can pair him with Tanya for some synergy. Eustace and Wulf are good characters. Nicholas is a surprisingly good tank.

If you mean just MLB then yea you should do that. If you mean 4* then you only really uncap a few of them. The only grid that completely replaces its weapons is Earth. Other than that you'll tend to use a combination of M1 and M2 weapons

I personally don't think shes bad. She has 2 attack abilities which help build Lecia's atk stack and her third ability usually has her provoking and dodging every hit followed by doing nasty counters. Although I like her I don't hear any praise about her all that much.

She's good, but wind has a lot of really good characters so people don't pay much attention to her.

Light and Dark are AIDS to grind up due to low drop rates, Luminera is especially ass due to her gimmick. At least Celeste Claws are excellent and don't require HL and 4* to get the full effect from, along with replenishing every month from the shop. Seriously, fuck Luminera Swords.

Couple of reasons. Light and dark have harder raids to clear in order to get their preferred weapons to put in their grids, and on top of that the weapon that light wants the most, the Luminiera Sword Omega, only gets access to the skill that makes it useful after you reach rank 101 and have the lowest drop rate of any of the first magna series of weapons

I personally use Zooey/Seruel/Juliet frontline and a Amira/Sandalphon backline, but I also don't have as many or as powerful a selection of Light units as you do. Still, that comp works decently well in my experience, and let me solo Proto Bahamut at the very least. You should definitely look into your other units too though, I hear that Charlotta is extremely good, I've heard Clarisse mentioned a few times as well, Lucio is supposedly amazing, Vira is supposed to be a superb defensive unit from what I hear. I could keep going on but I'm by no means an expert on Light.
Your summons are great too, mainly Lucifer, Kero/Hector, Thor, and Zeus if you end up with a ton of good gacha Light weapons.

I'd say to probably replace Seruel or Juliet, I guess. My team ends up working because I can activate Zooey's 3rd skill on Turn 1, so if that's what you're looking for then replacing Seruel is probably better since his only team buff is Veil. While Veil is super useful against a lot of Dark bosses it's not something that can't be worked around either. Juliet has 2 nice skills, but she can probably be replaced if you don't have any real issues capping Def Down or getting Light Atk Up, and single target Revitalize is nice but nothing super crucial.

Replace Juliet for most content and swap her back in on bosses you have problems with. Lucio and Seru(at 100) can give Zooey 3 free turns off her skill cooldown.

Nope. Zooey started at 5 in the picture, and this is after using it. The charge bar gain is useful in longer battles though, or really short ones outside of Strike Time I guess if you're just waiting for an Ougi turn to blast shit with.

While you're probably early enough in the game that it doesn't really matter, you should definitely try to experiment with your units and figure out more synergistic compositions when you have the chance to. My team works out pretty well in my experience, but I wouldn't say it's the strongest Light team by any stretch of the imagination, and you could very well be better off with a different team than mine.

It depends on what you're trying to get out of it and how strong your wind team is.

I'd recommend against sliming up to 120 until you have a decent grid. Trying to get blue chests in pub m2 raids with a shit grid will break your will to live.

Yeah I havent done that yet, mainly since it requires you to do bunch of other side stories as well before doing it. My dark team frontline has exactly one human and rest are unknowns and primals so dagger seems to be the one to go for.

You'd be surprised what optimizing your grid can do user. When I first started I could barely scratch shit in Guild War, now I can do 12 million damage on the 1st turn. Unfortunately it needs to be 16 million damage so even I can't do it yet.

dagger and sword are very useful. though with the eternals themselves being the end goal you should just look up which one will help you the most now.

M1 SL10 big ATK is 15%, so 30% with 3* Omega summon. SL10 Coda Bahamut is 30% (and 15% HP).
But what makes it good is that it's normal modifier, so it stacks multiplicatively with your Magna/Omega modifier.
Eg. Assuming you use 3* Omega summon, if you have 5 SL10 M1 weapon your damage modifier would be something like 100% + 150% = 250% Adding another M1 weapon will bring it up to 280% But if you add weapon with normal atk modifier (Bahamut weapon SL1 in this case) your final out put would instead become 250% * 122% = 305% That should give you rough idea how good adding in weapon with different modifiers is. EX mod weapon works the same way. You can read here gbf.wiki/Weapon_Skills for more details.

If you're just going for the weapon then just reset when you get it, but the 4th box onward you have to empty it out before you can reset.

From box 4 onward it doesn't matter since you have to empty them anyway (which is like 2k tokens or something per box). If you're a casual players and don't think you will have enough time to do it then just focus on resetting after you get the weapon so you can open all 4 boxes.

44 weapons lets you unlock 5* uncap, which is even more of a grind than getting 4* character.

You can also just spend an extra gold bar to avoid 40 boxing

Gold bars don't come often, so it depends on how much you want a 5* Eternal. I might gold bar my favourites, and 40 box the ones I don't care for.

They are pretty hard to come by, yes.
You also already need 2 even with 44 boxing.
None of this is even worth it anyway, you should stick with playing casually.

This thread reminds me why GBF is at the bottom of my gatcha priority list. The events and core content are enjoyable when I play them but dedicated grind of this level is beyond me. Between Honkai, FGO, FFBE and Omnia I just don't have the wherewithal to get actual grids, let alone Eternals. Free SSRs are nice, but I basically don't do anything with them.

Event grinding is the worst part of Granblue. Most of the game can be done at your own pace, but Guild War autism is fucking shit that expects you to grind like mad for a week.

If you have your SSR weapon ticket still, use it on a Tyros Zither. Sure magna 1 water is shit, but water/wind are the easiest magna 2 farms. You literally only need 2 harps. If you buy the first, you only need to farm one more harp to complete your grid. The rest can be daggers, xenos, and ultimas/opus.
Just be glad you aren't farming 4 katana/2 axe earth grid, 3 gun/2 staff dark grid, or literally 5 sword fire grid from exclusively a summon raid good fucking luck with that

Cain is core. De La Fille/Sara are great for sustain. In most circumstances, I would do Cain/DLF/Hallesena, but I would swap out Halle for literally any other attacker like Ayer/Siegfried/Dante. I wouldn't take Threo at 4* simply because she's not as good as other attackers without her FLB, but dickpicks aren't based off logic so do Cain/DLF/Threo then.

Not a tranny but I'm sticking with VM. I'm pretty confident I will never receive an actual ban for using VM's QOL features like summon sorting and skill hotbars, but if I do I will be free from this grindfest since I can't seem to put down this game willingly.

I would argue that she's a more consistent tank than Alexiel, but the tradeoff is she doesn't deal much damage unless she ougis. Instead of 6t/70%+12t/50%, she has 5t/50%+4t/Sub. With a single source of delay or gravity, she can cut/sub Europa with no downtime by herself, and not get debuffed ever at 5 graphos stacks.
This is her even at 4*. Look at what they did to Lily at her 5*. She went from being a 70% fire cut+ heal/clear into a Frankenstein monster of sheer sustain. 70% fire cut/3 casts of her S3 heal, 40% max stackable atk/def down that you can achieve at turn 5, and 20+5% party fire dmg mitigation. Imagine what kind of unholy golem Sara will be at 5*.

Is there literally any other wind SSRs that you have? All of those are "meh" territory. S.Sieg got powercreeped hard by S.Jeanne, S.Yuel is just not that good, and Wind Vira is a meme. Ironically she'd be useful for getting knocked out so you could swap in Yurius, but it takes 8 turns for that to happen and by then the boss is shitting triggers and she'd probably be low anyway. If those are the only SSRs you have I'd do Yurius, Yuel, Sieg.

Main hand is picked mostly from its charge attack and skill that only works when main handing.

if you are newbie-ish, not anytime soon because of the ammount of items needed, these days its more of a busywork than some sort of actual issue though. Some people have no life and grind 40 during one gw, but for now you should focus on grabbing total of 4 axes to max it, then probably change the weapon(you can do it once during GW) and grab 4 copies of another one, it takes a while but eventually you'd want to have several Eternals, if not all of them for the skin

I don't know about super end tier luci HL content since her damage cut is fire only, but the 3x heal + clear on enemy special is a godsend for debuff bosses, and she ougis like a beast when glaciate is up. not to mention she's at least back row core for a free 10% fire def up.

the shitty thing is with macula, yurop, and s.grea all being unknown type, it's hard to get the most out of her passive. and I guess her cooldowns are pretty ass, but the auto heal/clear mitigates that pretty well. if you've got a gab summon you can facetank pretty much anything fire can throw at you.
