who is your most wanted fighter?
Do they hold up? Are they interesting and unique enough to actually be playable?
Prove it! Post and/or make a moveset for them!

not exactly a moveset, but I really like this one.
Goomba Moveset:
Their gimmick is the stacking ability, which both greatly increases their range, and makes them heavier yet slower. You start out with one goomba, and can stack up to three more, making four total. The goomba's height is about pichu's, and grows to be as tall as bowser once fully stacked. If a goomba is hit hard enough and enough times, they will fall over and start over at one again, however, if they are hit with a fire or energy related attack, a single goomba from the stack will engulf in flames, and jump in the air and land on the opponent, like Bowser's goomba bros move from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Their run speed is average, with a slightly bellow average jump, but deals above average damage and knockback. His attacks are short ranged, but certain attacks can be done from all goombas, if spawned, at once, like a jab or a tilt, giving him extremely good vertical range. also has a unique "ability" of taking slight damage if footstooled.
>jab
goomba kicks once, bites, then kicks forward again with his other foot. All goombas perform this move.
>grab
goomba bites opponent. all goombas perform this move, meaning they can grab opponents out of the air.
>pummel
bites repeatedly
>tilts
utilt: kicks upward. when stacked, goombas kick one after another, leading a chain reaction of moving the opponent upward.
ftilt: simple forward kick
dtilt: bites downward
>fsmash
goomba jumps forward and bites. If stacked, the bottom goomba jumps forward and bites, with each consecutive goomba falling over and biting.
>usmash
goomba jumps upward wearing one of three helmets: spiny's shell helmet, spike goomda helmet (from paper mario), or Goombeetle helmet (from mario galaxy); this is only a stylistic change and cycles between them. If stacked, the top goomba will wear it, and bottom goombas will kick upward, like utilt, to move the opponent into the top goomba's hit.
1/2
>dsmash
spawns a tanooki tail and spins it around. all stacked goombas will perform the same move.
>aerials
nair: goomba spins with his left food outward. all stacked goombas will perform the same move.
fair: goomba will kick forward. all stacked goombas will perform the same move.
uair: top goomba will bite upward
dair: bottom goomba will stomp downward, like Dr. Mario.
>Standard Special
spawns goomba
>Side Special
all goombas huddle into the super boot from SMB3, and can bounce indefinitely.
>Up Special
all goombas sprout wings. Each B press moves them up a decent amount and can be pressed up to three times. Each B press also causes the bottom goomba to drop a mini goomba that can slow down the opponent exponentially if latched onto them.
>Down Special
spawns a fake goomba sign ( from 3D land) that stays on the field to block opponents and make it hard for them to get around the stage. Goomba can walk through it, while the opponent can't. Can spawn only one.
>final smash
flaming goombas rain from the sky as a giant ball of goombas forms and rolls over the opponent.
2/2
this makes people seethe but I stilll like it.
Fredrik should be in, as well as Funky.
Linda from Stretch Panic.
Literally never gonna happen even if smash bros had 200 character slots like mugen or some shit.
But... She has a scarf that is a hand demon thing and she can use it to stretch things and launch herself in directions.
Based as hell.
Good taste
Do you have that as a template by any chance user
These are good. Keep em coming
will do
Wish i did user
I really like this one, though one thing I'd say that would make him even more interesting is if he were constantly hovering on his broom.
Bandana Waddle Dee
>Neutral Special - Waddle Spear Throw (Hold button to adjust power and range, similar to Diddy Kong's Neutral Special.)
>Side Special - Parasol Rush (Parasol can reflect projectiles)
>Up Special - Waddle Copter
>Down Special - Megaton Punch (Command grab move; grabs opponent and punches them similar to the Megaton Punch minigame. Damage dealt is dependent on how fast you press the button again, similar to Incineroar's Side Special)
>Final Smash - Waddle Dee Stampede (BWD calls upon his fellow Waddle Dees to trample over the opponent. Functions similarly to Yoshi's Final Smash.)
>echo of a character from a different series just because he looks like him
Wouldn't happen, would just be a semi-clone like Falcon to Ganondorf.
Unironically and ironically Minecraft Steve.
Unironically because I think he would be an original character, and he would represent the most important game of the last decades. Ironically because I would love to see all the salt he would generate here.
that'd honestly be better, if a straight up newcomer were out of the question.
Everyone I want is already in. So at this point I just want to see someone dumb like Steve, Goku, or Sans get in just to see the shit show that follows.

>fire magic, spell that debuffs enemies, and for his specials he turns into shadowside form and does moves similar to kenshiro
based.
Steve Moveset:
Details: Steve is a character who’s main goal is to build his own stage control. He can place terrain through various types of craft-able blocks. He can also craft new weapons as the match progresses, meaning that moves that all use the pickaxe, sword, shovel, hoe and axe all start out as stone, but can be upgraded to iron and then diamond with a crafting table once a meter fills up. You will craft your blocks from here as well. Parrying with Steve will pull out his sword for the same minecraft animation of sword parrying.
>Jab
A single pickaxe swing. Like isabelle’s jab, but is faster, however, it has some cooldown aftee the fifth swing. has the exact same animation as it does in Minecraft. This move is also used to break placed blocks.
>dash attack
Hops up and thrusts sword down. (Reference to crit jumping)
>tilts
[Ftilt]: thrusts trident forward briefly for an extremely long ranged attack
[Utilt]: jumps and swings pickaxe upward. Both the jump and pickaxe swing have the same animations that they would have in Minecraft
[Dtilt]: uses a farming hoe by whacking it into the ground in front of him, then dragging it’s tip back to him, “farming” the ground.
>Fsmash
a three hit combo, sort of like cloud’s, that has Steve swing his sword three times in a row, with the third swing dealing the most damage and knock back. This move will keep somewhat similar animations to swinging the sword in Minecraft. Using this move against a projectile will cause him to swordu parry (with same MC animation), and reflect the incoming projectile on any one of his three swings.
>Usmash
Swings Axe upward in an arching motion, like Ness’s yoyo.
>Dsmash
Villager’s.
1/3
>Standard Special
Place block. The first block to ever be placed will be a crafting table, if spawned in the air it will fall like Pac-man’s fire hydrant, but deal significantly less damage. You can then craft an assortment of blocks, however these cannot be spawned in the air. A thick, black, reticle-like cube outline will appear over where you would like to place a block (hold B while moving and/or jumping to keep reticle in front of you), however you can only place up to three blocks at a time. The different types of blocks you have are:
[Dirt Block]: easiest one to break if attacked, but also easiest to mine with jab to be placed somewhere else. Can place up to three.
[Stone]: harder to break than dirt, but takes longer to mine. Can craft only 2.
[TNT]: can craft only one at a time. Placing it anywhere will automatically cause its fuse to light and blow up about a second and a half later. Will break any blocks within it’s blast radius.
[Wooden Plank]: is just as sturdy as cobblestone, but is easier to mine away. However, it breaks almost instantly if attacked by a fire based move.
Another note is that the order you craft each block is the order it will be placed. Each block will have a different skin depending upon which which color palette is being used (except for TNT):
#1:(regular grass dirt, cobblestone, oak plank)
#2:(snowy light colored dirt, stone, spruce plank)
#3:(greyish dirt + dark grass, granite, dark oak plank)
#4:(sand, sandstone, birch plank)
#5:(wet dirt, mossy cobblestone, jungle plank)
#6:(red sand, red sandstone, acacia plank)
#7:(mycelium + occasional mushroom, andesite, red mushroom block)
#8:(endstone, purpur block, bookshelf)
>Up Special
Places a piston beneath him that sends him flying upward
2/3
>Down Special
Throws an ender pearl. Pressing down-B will put it in his hand, like peach’s turnip. Throwing it will teleport him to where ever it lands and cause him 10% damage each time it is used. If thrown off the ledge or onto someone who is off the ledge, it will not teleport steve and only deal 10% damage to the other player (next to no knockback)
>Side Special
Steve hops onto a pig and uses the carrot lead to force the pig to charge forward.
>grab
Fishing rod tether grab. Can grab ledges. Pummel is standard punch with same animation from Minecraft.
>Aerials
[Nair]: same as jab, continuous pickaxe swings
[Fair]: swings sword in forward arching position.
[Bair]: swipes shovel from sideways tobehind him.
[Dair]: spawns diamond boots and stomps downward. Extremely powerful and can spike.
>final smash
Builds a nether portal and teleports enemy to the nether where they are ganged up on by a bunch ghasts.
3/3
Disable or ungraspable attack should have weirder effects. Trip, sleep, freeze, reverse controls, force fighters into a taunt. Balance it by having it charge ambiently or give it Judgement-esque rules on how often the same effect can be repeated. I also liked that one user's idea about all his smash charging animations being the exact same. Would be fun for catching ledge recoveries.
>Ender Pe-
A little bit late to the thread but
JOKER IS DEAD
Doesn't exactly match the thread theme, but I made a smash 6 roster and didn't think it justified a whole new thread. I added some pipe dreams and wasn't entirely realistic, but I tried not to make it too unrealistic
honestly, why would you NOT use an enderpearl in a steve moveset? It's such a great item.
Because elytras are cooler
this is a very based roster, except for one thing.
Alph should be replaced with Louie.
Just keep Alph as an Olimar skin and give Olimar/Alph Rock Pikmin in addition to the existing ones.
how would you add an elytra without making it Meta Knight's Brawl Up-B?
Getting some mixed signals here
I assume you're referring to elytra being used as an up b? Simple, it works like Pit's, only it's a bit faster and uses firework rockets just like in the game to launch him.
The Patrician's Square rep
but isn't the elytra only a gliding tool?
Normally, but you can use fireworks to launch yourself of the ground if you want
