A bunch of unrelated games come to mind, but only because I listened to Helloween in the background.
Also part 2 is better.
Kind of just because of the character but Demon's Crest maybe.
I'd add episode three of Dusk to that which makes sense as it was inspired by the games you listed.
there's a lot of power metal vidya out there

where the doom at?
I ain't seeing any drone metal vidya.
What about this?

While im not gonna bash the games soundtrack, odin's sphere action sequence music was a bit lacking so I played the original while listening to this and kamelots karma album.

Dungeon Lords (Collector's edition), by the way. Yes, I am aware of other Blradley's games, but this one is, I think, the closest. OP, keep in mind, it is extremely peculiar, janky and user-unfriendly, so, just keep it in mind. Oh, and it's balanced for coop both in terms of combat and questing, and good luck finding anyone willing to coop the classic version of it nowadays.
Anyway, An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire, to some extent.
Definitely Baldur's Gate 2 (specifically). Mage duels, high levels, occasional planar shit, gimp-looking antagonist, southern exotic-y locales, fits to a t.
Closest I can think of is Warhammer Vermintide 2
It's not a perfect game, but it's one of the only games that lets you cleave your way though hordes of enemies in a satisfying way.
DOOM
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk
Vermintide
Serious Sam
