I've never been THAT excited over a fucking vidya gaem, but the Nier Automata reveal was great because it was so far out of left field. It actually lived up to my expectations, too.
KH3, FFXV and Shenmue III being revealed at the same time was pretty good too. KH3 turned out decent, FFXV was trash and Shenmue could go either way.
At this point the only realistically feasible reveal that would get me earnestly excited is Xenoblade X2.

The last time for me was when FF 13 came out. FF 11 and 12 had soured my mood, and was hoping for a return to a better FF. Then 13 came and it ruined all my expectations. I havent recovered since. The last burst of excitement was during PS2 days. Nintendo unfortunately started catering to normies with the Wii and I just lost all faith in games. Indies can't scratch that itch, either, so I literally have no game hobbies.
