Yeah it doesn't look that appealing but it's pretty meh. Just don't get those if you're planning to play the game, it needs all the shekels it can get so it can get as popular as the first series deserved to be.
Personally I'm waiting for these to get to my shithole but they're already expensive as they are, (7-10 dollars a piece), not to mention the third world tax, so I'm pretty worried about pricing.

definitely agree that some designs are great, and some leave a bit to be desired, but the main issue that I have with some of the later ones is that the core has bumps/ridges on the outside which fucks with the rolling.
luckily the newer ones seem to leave the center rolling path clear so that you still roll them, but it's a bit harder to do some of the fancy shit
