Why should anyone trust the "leaks" about it being for switch? When P5R was announced, it was being leaked as being a Switch exclusive, then it was announced for PS4. The "leakers" then said it would be for both Switch and PS4, until P5S was announced. Also, a port of the main game is going to be called Persona 5, they're not going to add anything to the name of a port of the base game. It's a new spin-off.

I don't think Atlus can really tell Nintendo what to do with their franchise that sells many times more copies than anything Atlus puts out. Joker is taking a while because Sakurai is 900 years old or because Nintendo itself wants marketing synergy.

Because dataminers discovered that Joker has an alternate costume with a ponytail, and the P5R reveal trailer showed a girl with a ponytail that hasn't been officially introduced yet. They have another P5R trailer set for this month and there's no way they want Nintendo spilling the beans.
