Does Call of Duty get too much hate it doesn't deserve? Everyone says the series doesn't change, yet has Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, GTA, Halo, The Sims, Pokemon and even Zelda and many others, have they changed much? Call of Duty has been from WW2 to distant future to space and what not. COD4 and BO4 for example are very different compared to like CS 1.6, Source and GO. COD has a usually pretty good single player, great multiplayer if you like that type of mp, plus it has extra modes like zombies. Seriously, it's not that bad series.

Christ, man, who fucking cares? Just play the games you want and stop trying to justify your decisions on an anonymous basket weaving board.
i want cod to have an autistic defence force like all the shitty weeb pedo games do
Lol bless this guy
No one hates cod more than cod players former and current
>i want cod to have an autistic defence force
Why would you want something that actively makes threads and any semblance of actual discussion WORSE on this board?
I honestly think Modern Warfare and what it did to fps was a mistake
CoD MP will be forever a casual faggot zone like Gaylo but Yea Forums usually got pretty indepth when it came to talking about the campaigns
If it wasn't CoD then it would have been some other FPS. If something gets stupidly popular, everyone else is going to try and capitalize off its success with their own knockoffs.
because we can't have a cod thread without it being 100% blindly shitting on a franchise because its the expected thing to do
Did CoD ever get good again after the jetpack scifi fiasco?
It was just so good that everyone copied it. That's like saying Super Mario 64 was a mistake
Only console tards hate jet packs
Those futuristic games were actually pretty good. They were polished and fun games, also because they make new COD every year it's not like everyone is stuck with only one COD game for many years
No modern warfare 1 2 3 whatever is fine. The fanboys for Modern Warfare 2 can all go suck dicks though
Pretty good advice desu
Why?
Why do people complain about "anime" on an anime website? I hate reddit so much.
I only care about the SP and the gameplay in Advanced Wars was casual shit for babies that killed my interest despite BO2 being pretty good
Infinite warfare was great and fuck you if you say otherwise.
>sequel literally fucking never ever
why do people complain about anti weeaboo posters still even though they have been here for more than a decade now, why do people still make the mistake of weeaboo = anime?
YASSSS MODERN WARFARE 4 OMF MW2 WAS TGE BEST KIDS TODAY WOULD NOT SURVIVE ITS LOBBIES
>Iphone wojack poster
stones from a glass house there
It was never good after BO2. Enjoy the ripoffs of the latest trends instead.
T.reddit user
Right, it was never good after UO
COD is COD
I never played a cod that wasn’t terrible expect ghosts
What you just posted is exactly why i don't take anyone else's oponion seriously especially online. It's hypocrisy i tell you. Doesn't really matter too much though. They still sell like hotcakes even if activision bitches about them not reaching 'expectations'.
I have been enjoy long black ops 4
How much did Activision want wasn’t bo4 still a top game plus it had microtransactions
It was kiddies who never touched it their complaining ruined COD
Us true fans were absolutely fine with the WW2 brown and green shooters WE like being allied badasses shooting Nazis and nips. We didn't need to be tacticool modern day soldiers with kill streaks we preferred the good old Allied stand united run-of-the-mill soldiers save the free world with multiplayer that had REAL soldiers and REAL weapons with no killstreak and perk bullshit!
COD changed to much that's why it's been bad since MW2.
I only followed the series in regards Finest Hour, 2, 3 and obviously went onto Modern Warfare. The big problem really is it got a little too much in regards to MP content to me.
It's fucking retarded to complain about. But I followed the series up until Black Ops 2. And I only got that since my Father picked it up on a sale for himself so I had a go at it. The single Player is still fun to me at that point. But with Modern Warfare 3 being the one I missed out. I just felt that the MP was too bloated in some way that it put me off. I still feel probably the single player aspect to these games are really good. But I just fell out of it as a series since the annual releases and constant hopping to another storyline (which to be fair, Treyarch or whatever they are now have stuck with the WaW/Black Ops story) just left not feeling it wasn't worth feeling invested since you'd go from defending a post-superpower United States from a United Latin America to a Martian Military Junta. But I'm complaining about variety at this point so I'm still retarded.
Childhood is loving the Modern Warfare franchise.
Adulthood is realizing the Black Ops series (Plus World At War) is superior.
Fuck BlopsIIII tho
Sorry Treyarch always focused on gimmicks and gay shit like zombies
>Childhood is loving the Modern Warfare franchise
COD4 was 12 years ago
It was an annual release that polluted nearly every other FPS in the genre for about a decade with its """innovations""". They may be able to hit it out of the park every so often, but it's what CoD represents that leaves an awful taste in everyone's mouth.
Cod is irrelevant now
Dont remember much. Just that there were many articles saying it made $500 million but still fell short of expectations.
Best last CoD?
>MP
3
>SP
BO2
Last good CoD was 4 or MAYBE WaW. The rest is homogenized bullshit. Reason being those games were the last to seem to kind of have any sense of atmosphere or pacing.
Call of duty's misstep is the same one a lot of modern cinema has. It's not bad, it's mundane and mediocre and as a result only appeals to normalfags and children.
It's all style, very small doses of substance, and has remained largely the same game for like a decade, just in a different setting. It's in a prison of it's own creation though; The moment they try to do anything different, dumbass normalfags bitch about it, remember the time that space call of duty with wall running and stuff got shitloads of dislikes? I was actually kind of interested in that and thought it looked cool because it was kind of different for call of duty at least in setting.
So, I've come to the conclusion that it's got an audience, that audience is just not me.
Bo2 has a decent campaign and an "eh it's pretty okay" MP.
