Should Nintendo give up on consoles a become a third party developer?

I think so. Imagine if Nintendo stopped focusing on their under powered shitty consoles and put all their effort and talent into creating their first party games like Mario or Zelda to Playstation, XBOX and PC? It would be amazing because they wouldn't be limited by their shitty console limitations. Look at how great BotW is. Now imagine the developers weren't limited by the WiiU release??? know what I mean? Maybe they could only focus on portable consoles but definetly give up the main console. They'd make lots of money, win win for everyone.

Nintendo is the only one who tries to innovate consoles. Xbox and PlayStation are just boxes that play games.

Innovation doesn't always mean good.
I had to literally take a generation long break from them when they were obsessed with the shitty ass motion controls.
I'm ok with the Switch because the "it's a portable but also a home console" gimmick actually makes sense and it's useful, but the motion control cancer that people enabled them to do for years STILL plagues their modern games in part to this day and i don't know when we'll finally get rid of it.

Like they would be doing much better today than they already do if they just made decisions regarding their games that made sense.
It seems like they barely know just how to handle Yakuza and then they fuck up any other IP with retarded decisions that make no sense.

Gyro aiming is better than twin sticks. Motion controls are a net positive.

Look at how bad the sales of the WiiU were. It's very different situation. They could focus all their men power and money into making 10/10 games like Mario Galaxy or BotW that take advantage of current gen hardware.

I don't know if you've been living under a rock for a million years, but gyro aiming is a million times better than stick aiming, and only slightly behind mouse and keyboard.
