I think reviews in general on products that are of interest AND that aren't of declining quality is a very niche space. Games is like any other media and even if you are reviewing older stuff, you're stuck in a place where you can really do so much and not many people can build a diverse enough repertoire to show off effort and ingenuity after a certain point. Porn I don't understand though, why do you need any sort of backdrop? The fucking is all that matters and there isn't much you can really innovate with on unless you go full degenerate and niche and it's not like they aren't trying with VR and etc.
