Valkyria Chronicles 4
Question about Valkyria Chronicles though, can I beat the game just using the named characters? Like I haven't used the cannon fodder characters in like 3 missions.

Mostly playing DMfD, was playing the Blaster Master series and some Splatoon 2 as well.
don't you only get generic characters if you've somehow managed to permakill too many named characters

Went 100% on Piczle Colors. Currently getting through Smash WoL and Disgaea 5.

when you say named do you mean the story relevant leader characters that give an extra command point or any character with a name because that's a pretty important distinction
I don't think you even get generic recruits unless you seriously fuck up a lot

You mean the main story characters? You could technically beat the game using them. Don't know why you would when best girl Vancey exists
Commander characters that gives a cp. Like I rather move these characters twice than some rando. And I seem to be able to pass things with an A just fine.

your other squad members aren't randomly generated
they're characters, just not main characters and they all have their own stories and shit

Just finished Hob. Really liked the flow of the game. I’ve always enjoyed games where you restore the world to its former glory. Expected a Zelda-like game, but it’s more like a puzzle platformer
Some performance issues, pointless upgrades and really shallow combat drags it down.
Overall pretty good
Should I get Genesis Cross Rays? I fucking hate Seed and Destiny. Also who the fuck decided that G is not a real robot and will never be included in another game?
Valkyria Chronicles wiki probably has all their profiles but you can read that stuff in game as well. All the side characters have side story missions fleshing them out more as well as improving the personal skills that require about 50 CP spent on them from memory (CP spent on main missions count for double) as well as having all 3 members of the story.
Do I need to play the other Valkyria games to play 4?

Enjoying DMfD. I refuse to join the discord server reddit advertises because I will not use discord in any capacity. I haven't checked /vg/ to see if there is a general where friend codes are shared so I could hop into other peoples lobbies. I haven't had too much trouble hosting a lobby for whatever I'm doing in worldwide then playing with whomever joins.
