No source but I work at gamestop and those dumb ass air freshners are in my backroom with instructions not to open until 4/19.

Also next week playstation reps will go to certain gamestops and install a CTR demo for IIRC 6 hours

Some literal nobody telling a story about their trip to Gamestop, you'd have to ask someone at gamestop to verify becuase it's not on the website for you to verify if any stores near you are participating.

I am It's real but not on the website yet or reported by social media. The spreadsheet list of stores participating is in our system on our personal little messageboard 'forum' but I'm off today. Got a glimpse of it yesterday. As far as I know the Sony reps will come in, install the CTR demo, and just remain there for the duration of the demo window, and the employees don't have to do anything. I don't know why they consider CTR so hot a title that the rep has to be there at all times, it's only like a 6 hour window, and not a demo that people can download at home or even at least have permanently available exclusively through the store kiosk.

I think it's moreover just security reasons to make sure that the system running it doesn't wind up getting swiped.
Also have you seen the disgraceful gameplay over the past month+? Mario Kart babies that never figured out how to drift will be playing this, so having someone 100% dedicated to the demo can at least teach people instead of demanding that GS staff do it for them.

Why have Sony reps? Is it to gauge interest, is crash going back home?
