Not sure about the Switch version, but being DLC in the Wii U version, he was horribly integrated into the game and there was little to no reason to ever use him at all.

You didn't play him then. He literally carried me the entire game, when I didn't know about weapon levels, Young Link still destroyed anything with a sub 120 damage weapon. Now When I get a 600+ damage weapon with darkness, heart power and all that, my only problem is that I can't use him enough.
But then again, as I have only played HW:DE, I'm not sure they gave you the chance to play termina map.
The only time I had a slight disturbance in difficulty was when the game decides to limit characters to some trash.

I got in with 4 and already like Nero a lot.
Just don't like the idea of him hijacking the franchise from Dante. I hate it when series that have had an established MC for several entries get the MC switched out.
