I wasn't big on souls but i did enjoy the little of this game I did play, what put me off was the base game was $10 but the game with all the DLC was $25 which is a really bad sign. If the DLC is expensive that means its necessary, and I was really only willing to pay $10 for it.

Not really.
It's good and does a lot of things that are a million times better than even AAA things. For example something simple no other game gets right: When you have the mats for the final upgrade, you don't have to do all the other upgrades and farm boring low level mats. Or when you equip an armor part and keep the button pressed for two seconds, to automatically equip the whole set.
Also a decent game in general, felt fresh and fair. Cool tools with that mini robot.

Beats me. I've greatly enjoyed the game, even though sometimes I had to basically pile corpses onto the boss til I finally got through them. My only major complaint is the weapons and armor could have used more variety in stats and effects.
Been going around with security armor and the blade from the first boss for most of the game, occasionally using the liquidator set in poison heavy areas.

My only complaint is the way the moveset changes based on where you are locked onto. I did see a tooltip about changing some combat option but I have no idea if that would help, didnt try it yet.
Fuck, dont tell me there are only two hammers. Just started getting lvl 4 parts and have been assuming there was going to be at least one more alternative with the same moveset.

I agree that the song is awful and the lack of any new ones or ability to switch it is honestly one of the biggest flaws.
Also why would they have a song with such a depressing message in their employee's workplace when there are so many consequences to having put on an exo rig. Like they can't fit in airports, or go to a public beach without horrifying people, let's also have them listen to a song that gets them thinking about everything else they may have lost!
