the online is garbage, don't get it for that. It's just a bunch of short boss rush missions with a absolutely terrible netcode.
game is great for the single player though.

It's a single player game though, there is a death pvp online mode but even around launch it was pretty bad with most matches being super laggy.
Anyway the game feels like your standard low budget anime game but it was kinda fun actually.

Well I thought it wouldn't be mission based co op. I would have bought it instantly if I had a friend to play with but now that I know what the co op is like I'll probably wait on it

Honestly, once Kirito and company showed up my enjoyment dropped like a rock simply because of how they sucked up all the air in the story, so I stopped playing.

The way character creation works in the game is you have a default look for your character and AI partner, but can choose bits (eyes, hair, etc) from other characters to replace your features, to the point where you can make clones of them. You also get a few body sliders.

1-3 are pretty shit. They only add 1 admittedly huge dungeon and new weapons, raise the level cap and add new modes to the lobby. Nothing that really fixes the game's lack of things to do.
DLC 4 actually adds a substantial world space, 2 dungeons that are the same size and length as the previous DLCs as well as the usual additions that the other DLC did. It also makes use of the GGO cast which is always nice.
