If you like MHA and HxH try One Punch Man, it's not as good as HxH but it's hilarious. I just finished SAO Alternative Gun Gale Online and I enjoyed the characters.

I've been meaning to check that out. I don't watch a lot of anime, since the only passive media I consume regularly is music, but that one's always been on my radar.

It has great pacing and stellar lighting, but it's not worth watching over Brotherhood. It's worth watching anyway, in addition, though. If you consider it, watch it BEFORE FMAB, that way you don't feel like it's a downgrade and those early FMAB arcs don't feel like total shit since they're meant to be recaps anyway.

FMAB is up there with Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, and HxH for me. I thought I was a fan of anime but 90 percent of it is highschool crap. MHA is one of the few good anime about high school kids.

For me, it's because it doesn't have the problem Naruto had, where it had a big cast of interesting characters that got zero screentime so we could focus on the shitty "Underdog" hero. Deku is still the protag, but the interesting side cast gets a lot more attention and I dig it. Plus, I dig the music.
