I feel terrible for no new F-Zero, Wario, and Custom Robo especially but Mother is a done and over series. The most it could hope for is an HD remake and even that I'm not so certain since I think it'd be censored.
God damn I want more custom robo though.
enjoy your indie ports goy
I just want a new Nintendoland, personally. It deserves a sequel
It's not fair
Honestly I didn't want to include mother, but didn't want s[ergs going on about how I left it out.
I never played it. What was so good about it?
Oh man, it had a lot of minigames, like Mario Party would, but without the whole board part of it. It was a great game for couch fun, a favorite between my group of friends. Mario Chase, Sweet Day and Ghost Mansion are a blast with 5 people playing together
Here is an example: youtube.com
With the way the recent Mario Parties having been going no board board seems like a great idea.
It's sad to think that Captain Falcon is more of a Smash Bros character than he is a F-Zero character now.
It really is sad. It's also sad that other cool F-Zero characters like pic related are never used for anything else and are effectively left to rot.

What in the actual fuck, why has there been zero promotion for this? Also I hope they change the artstyle, the realism angle looks weird and stiff.
Everything outside of Wario and F-Zero are a bunch of literal whos.
>NOT EVEN A W101 PORT
WHERE IS IT NINTENDO?
It's like the only WiiU exclusive I want now.
Mother is finished. Besides a remake of Mother 1 to make it more palatable to people who cant handle games styled after DQ1 or localizing Mother 3 there's no reason to revisit the series. It had a proper conclusion.
I'd kill for a new F-Zero, Panel de Pon, or Wave Race though.
Hasn't it been this way for a long time? If it's not one of Nintendo's top five franchises, it's not getting a new game again ever.
Enjoy your Mario, Zelda and Pokemon ad infinitum, with the occasional new Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem.
The creator of Mother meant to end it at 3, though mother 3 is obviously a port a lot of people still want.
Basically just a ton of fun minigames, split into 3 groups (singleplayer, optional singleplayer or multiplayer, and multiplayer) all based off of different games.
Most of the singleplayer games are tiny minigames based around just doing it over and over again and getting better to get better times. My favorites were the F-Zero one where you use the wii u motion controls to control the car on the racetrack, and the Donkey Kong one where you go through an obstacle course and tilt your gamepad to move from side to side.
The optional games were essentially just miniature versions of a game. The game would be different if you were playing with the gamepad or a wiimote but if you were playing by yourself it was just the gamepad. In the pikmin one, it's essentially like caves from pikmin 2, and the person on the gamepad is olimar and the people with the wiimotes are pikmin. In the metroid one, you just go around an arena and kill monsters, with the person on the gamepad in samus's gunship and the people with the wiimotes on the ground. In the zelda one, it's essentially an on-rails shooter. The person on gamepad is the Archer and the people with wiimotes are swordsmen.
The multiplayer games were competitive. In the luigis mansion one, you had wiimote people playing as luigi and they had to shine their lights to kill an invisible ghost who was looking at the stage from the gamepad. In the mario one, you had one person on the gamepad playing as mario, and you had a map. You have to avoid the toad players who are trying to catch you on wiimotes. The animal crossing one has one person using the two sticks of the gamepad to control two people trying to catch everyone on the wiimotes who are trying to collectively eat a target amount of fruits.
Whenever you play the game you get points that you can use for a little minigame to win prizes, which you can place down in the hubworld.
Overall its a really cool game and I want to see a version of it using the switch
>Fire Emblem
Spotted the FEfag.
Replace Fire Emblem with Splatoon and you'll be more accurate.
Does Donkey Kong, Yoshi and Metroid all count as Mario?
I've really been thinking about this but Nintendo should let more people do more things with more of their IPs, especially the ones that they clearly aren't using
MercurySteam did Samus Returns. Star Link had that entire whole Star Fox integration. We also got Mario + Rabbids and soon Cadence of Hyrule. Let's just go all in! Let them just make entirely new Metroid and Star Fox games. Let others make a new F-Zero or Chibi Robo or Wario or any of the countless amounts of series that currently don't have anything going on for them. Nintendo's got a million different IPs; if they themselves aren't gonna use them, let other people use them.
Why the fuck would Metroid count as mario?
Splatoon 3 probably won't happen for another 5 years unless they do a spinoff.
>Does [...] Yoshi [...] count as Mario?
Yes.
There have been two Donkey Kong games in ten years and the last Metroid game since 2007 was a remake that was arguably worse than a fangame. No, Federation Force doesn't count as a Metroid game.
>Cruis'n
Fuck
>go to arcade
>they have Cruis'n Blast
>it's basically a generic racing game now with boosts and items and shit
Twas just a joke.
>No new Cruis'n
About that...

I mean, they've already kinda done that before.
Star Fox Assault and Donkey Konga were made by Namco, F-Zero GX by Sega, various DK games made by Paon, etc
I'd kill for a Chibi Robo game styled after the first game to be honest.
Looks alright. Anyone actually play it?
