Will Witcher 3 ever be topped, Yea Forums?

Cyberpunk and VtMB 2 could be possible contenders.
Anyways, pic related got REALLY close to being as good as The Witcher 2/3. If it had a bigger budget and voice acting it could have been. Even as it stands right now I consider it GOTY 2018. Great story, great visuals, serviceable gameplay mechanics (some people complain about fetch quests).

Dark souls 1,bloodborne,sekiro are all much better games.

The game itself is pretty damn boring. Only thing the game has is nice graphics and some well written stories.

If we are talking just the actual game parts of this "game", MGRR and Bayonetta are 100x better.

I don't dislike Bloodborne's gameplay at all, in fact it's pretty great for what it is but while the mechanics themselves are decent they're also really simple, which is perfectly fine for a game with presentation as immaculate as BB, but your post made it seemed like you weren't taking any of that into account, and once you strip that away it's an enjoyable but fairly shallow action game IMO

If we're going for the open world plus cinematic story kind of game,but RDR2 beat it imo. Loved both, but I started replaying W3 recently (third playthrough) and the areas the game lacks really start to show at this point. The open world is kind of boring and flat and the quest design is even worse than Red Dead for holding your hand.

I usually do Hearts of Stone after finding Ciri and returning to Novigrad. Chronologically, Blood and Wine takes place after the main game, so do it then.

B&W should be done after the main quest, it's also the hardest in terms of enemy levels

Blood and Wine though is definitely for after finishing the main story. It doesn't make sense otherwise.

It was pretty good, certainly a better action rpg than many others but I don't think it's the end-all, be-all like everyone pretends it to be. It definitely has a fair share of flaws but all in all I liked it. I just hope they continue the Witcher in some capacity, since in 3 Geralt and Yen pretty much retire from adventuring shenanigans, like start a new series where you play as Ciri since she's finally a witcher, and her Blink ability alone makes her better than Geralt in every way
