I’m an Asian woman, born and raised in the US. I’ve always been curious about the maligned WMAF combination.
Asian women are indeed very desirable by all races. I’ve had all types of guys interested in me: fellow East Asians, Indians, SE Asians, white, black, Hispanic, and Middle Eastern. Other Asian women in the US must be similarly popular with all races and ethnicities. But I’ve always felt more comfortable with non-white people. Maybe the white American personality, style, and ways of operating didn’t jive with mine.
I’m always surprised that even in my liberal urban area, WMAF still reigns supreme. Even when I was a teen, I already thought WMAF was such a cliche. I can’t believe that years later, it’s still “the thing” and still the only widely-accepted thing. In my liberal area, Asian/black couples are still are rare. Asian/Hispanic and Asian/Middle Eastern couples are uncommon, too.
I think Asian females who go for white males are fairly conservative and closed-minded. It seems the more free-wheeling, open-minded Asian women are more willing to date/marry men who are not white or Asian. Most Asian women seem pretty superficial and narrow-minded, so they think white is the only way to go, or white and Asian men are the only acceptable types. Asian women need to open up their minds more. There are plenty of Indian, Middle Eastern, black, Hispanic, and other men who could make great partners, but East Asian women tend to be closed to them.
