I like Sekiro. I like it a lot. I don't usually play Soulsbourne titles, (I got half way through both BB and DS3 before giving up due to the amount of time sink it was costing me), so once I reached the Guardian Owl fight in Sekiro I knew I'd felt the feeling before. I'd died 100+ times and I just wasn't fast or patient enough to care about beating him anymore. So I deleted the game, deleted what I thought was all the Steam file data and was happy I was done with the game. I'd gotten my 30+ hours out of a £30 purchase. Not bad. Bit of a shame I couldn't see the end but I could always Youtube it later.
The other day I found out about an FPS mod for Sekiro and I was curious. So I re-installed the game, luckily I still had my save file intact, and kickstarted the mod. About 2 and a half hours later I was watching the credits roll, overjoyed. After getting my ass handed to me by this game, nothing felt better than cheating the hell out of it by slowing the game pace down by 50% and increasing Wolf's speed by 200%. Enemies were fodder, bosses were punching bags and the game was more Dynasty Warriors than Dark Souls but **** it, it's very rare that I get that much enjoyment out of a game.
So in conclusion, I am a dirty, dirty cheater, and I would highly recommend it.
>I like Sekiro >nothing felt better than cheating Choose one.

You cheated not only the game, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained. It's sad that you don't know the difference.

Is this what Yea Forums has come to? Reposting threads from resetera baiting for replies?

You not only lost THE GAME, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained. It's sad that you don't know the difference. Also Rei Ayanami best girl, FUCK Misatofags and especially Asukafags.

I recommend beating the game without cheats because that’s what I did and had a blast. You’re just a pussy scrub with no skills.

How many months would it take to get a body like that assuming you're eating properly and the like.
Depends how much you excercise a day and how many steroids you're willing to take

Yeah, there's so much growth in punching buttons at certain times. It's a game, not a college course.

>dervies value in things based on extrinsic motivators
You couldnt overcome a game that children are able to do. You justify it by saying that it takes too long but i bet youre the type of guy who binge watches a series and is okay being a lazy fuck for 50 hours+.
Its not even just that you were unable to perform . It was that you couldnt learn fast enough or muster up enough enthusiasm to complete an goal because you have some warped thought that because others cant quantify your achievement with a dilpoma or monetary value, you deem it worthless.
You succumed to the sin of laziness instead of developing a virtue of tenacity. Aristotle would fucking spit in your face

It's kids with zero patience. They need games that end after an hour and fast queues or else their short attention spans cant handle it.
I bet op goes autopilot in every game and wonders why he's shit

Now watch someone else win the boss fight after struggling on it on youtube and then you'll feel the regret and loss of satisfaction of actually beating the boss the normal way.
Levi White
Other people have beaten Sekiro without cheats, same with the other Fromsoft games. They aren't impossible or even close to it.
Bentley Jackson
but how does it compare to the Okami squat?

Even if this is bait I don't see why anyone would have any problem with it unless whoever made that post also cheated in an MP thing (MP here might include "achievements" I guess, since those are purely cosmetic marks of pulling off something to show off to others). But I hate the consolefag mentality of >OH NO YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY TOUCH THE ARTISTES ORIGINAL VISION!!!! fuck off. PC games since the dawn of time have had all sorts of built in mutators and consoles and shit that can make you OP in ways beyond any of the games native difficulties. If it's single player that's between you and the game. I do think in many cases you're robbing yourself, but sometimes someone can enjoy a ride even on easier mode in terms of cool shit. Hell, all of us, everyone here, will (unless we die first) one day be really old and physically infirm. I don't think I'm going to be able to pull of what I can now in my 30s when I'm 80, but I look forward to vidya when I retire too.
If a game modder or tweaker ever LIES about it and claims to have accomplished something vanilla, that's just pathetic and worthy of mockery/bans. If they want to take a path between playing it vanilla and just watching it on YouTube though purely for themselves, I don't see any issue with it. Hell I often did that on PC games after I'd beat them on ultra a few times, my final plays would be fucking around and seeing what sorts of crazy shit the engine and world could do.
also I think mods/cheats/console is the right way for a devs to have a babby gaymin journalist mode, NOT an official ultra easy tier like so many have been crying for with Sekiro, which would waste dev resources and fuck up the game design. If someone is too shit to git gud or are on the job and are required to "finish" 4 games a week or some shit, they should be able to just turn on super/god mode and have all scores/achievements/mp disabled (and some little "god mode" symbol in the corner of the screen for screenshots/video) and that's that.
