Frozen is a contender for the worst world in the entire franchise.

True

RE: Coded was better.

But re coded has the 2nd best gameplay in the series.

from best to worst

Kingdom Hearts 2
Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts BBS
Kingdom Hearts DDD
Kingdom Hearts 3
Kingdom Hearts 385/2 Days
Kingdom Hearts Re:CoM
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded

2 > 1 > CoM > 3 > BBS > RE:Coded > DDD > RE:COM > Days > .2

well it's a shit movie so

I don't play Naruto: Video Game Edition.

>core gameplay
KH2FM > KH3 > Recoded > KH2 > KH1 > CoM > DDD > Days > BBS

reminder that base KH2 was complete fucking garbage before final mix fixed most of it's flaws by significantly changing the game. here's to hoping that KH3FM is just as good, since they're hyping the fuck out of the changes they're making for critical mode

Kh2
CoM
BBS
Kh3
Days
Kh1
Coded
Khux
DDD

Pretty set on this list, but it can always change in a year when I replay everything again and kh3 gets some stuff added

>People actually liking Re:coded

Not sure if trolls or just shit taste.

The story is shit but the gameplay on the DS was great. Seeing a new area of Wonderland blew me away at the time

I disagree, I hated playing Re:Coded, the gameplay was literally painful to play and it was all over the place.

Literally the most disappointing video game experience I've ever had in the last decade.

re coded was shit overall but it was the best command game
>commands weren't imbalanced as fuck with the vast majority of them being viable
>commands functioned as an alternate attack button, just about every command combos with basic attacks and other commands. Even the high tier commands like Judgement Triad, Eruption, Shock Fall, Gravity drop, Cyclone, etc. could be combo'd into. Command limit was designed around either having a bunch of nukes or long combo chains
>commands weren't completely autistic to farm for, could be capped relatively easily
it also did some other things right like keyblade upgrading

the main thing holding it back is the obsession that the game had with shoving you into a random minigame every fucking world, and locking the true postgame dungeon behind the fucking wireless avatar board

People in the KH community love to talk about gameplay shenanigans when even though the game has cool systems and is relatively fast paced, it's still one of the most nothing overall game experiences and is still largely unfun as a whole by the end of it. The genre switching was pretty awful

So yes it is a meme. They want to parrot what other people have said about re coded

>he didn't use the cheat matrix
Half the fun in that game is beefing the enemies up to retarded strength levels and fucking around in the dungeons
Let me guess, it was the Olympus minigame that walled you

Kh2FM
Kh1FM
KHCoM gba
KH3
KHDDD
KHBBS
KH Com Ps2
KH Coded
KH Days

This is the objective ranking.
The biggest issues with KH3 is its unfinished, Frozen world is beyond shit, FF characters need to be added in, and the combat needs reworking so its not just tap triangle to win. There's still fun to be had but its a much shallower game than the og trilogy

>reminder that base KH2 was complete fucking garbage before final mix fixed most of it's flaws by significantly changing the game.
No it wasn't. It was a great game that was only made better.

This. Peoplr are waiting on dlc and critical mode but that wont fix the major combat issues. Attractions should get removed and super moves need to use up a metre so you dont just spam them all with no recourse

KH2 > KH1 > KH3 > 3D > BBS > COM > CODED > DAYS > KHUX

Platinum'd the entire series.

Attached: 127316236121.jpg (1024x576, 36K)

Yup, if only there was some strategy to which super move to use the whole thing would be fixed. But as it is now it's one step away from playing itself, I never feel satisfied defeating a boss cause the game handed me ten op moves for no reason

Better than the handhelds, but worse than 1 and 2 with all their content.
I am waiting for FM befire I give my final verdict.

I know fan theories are shit, but what do you guys think about the whole "alternate timeline dream theory"?
Personally a lot of things add up, such as the sleeping keyholes at the end, Sora constantly misremembering things, the II.9 fakeout, the weird unexplained time reset, and how everyone is looking away from Sora/Kairi at a different time of day in the ending.
Reninder this is the series that had an X on Sora's shirt be a pivotal plot twist.

FM wont fix the combat though, or make major additions like the rest of twilight town/FF characters, at most it'll be some new cutscenes and bosses

The appearance of dream portals at the end confirmed it for me. These guys are pretty anal about their lore, theyre not gonna set up these portals that can only exist in dream worlds and then accidentally add them to the game

The cave section was alright, beating Tarzan as the worst world is not an easy feat and i don't think it'll ever be topped

I love Tarzan world, the musics banging and the slide minigames fun

2 > BBS > Re:Coded > 3 > DDD > CoM > 1 > Days
I'd rank Re:Coded higher than BBS if we had the opportunity of fighting more bosses with the actual core gameplay and if it had more challenging enemies, for once i actually missed Days damage sponges

i believe it but I don't think that the shipperfag part of the theory is right. that part is reaching
the drop noises, random cuts, and all the other DDD references like the portals are what set it off for me desu

1 = 2 > BBS > 3 > everything else
You might not like it but this is the only true ranking

Attached: 5c4.gif (410x230, 1.93M)

Its a shame the best explanation of the theory is written by tumblrites and is filled with shipping nonsense ("Xion and Namine are on a date") and spends pages retelling the stories of Tangled and Frozen like theyre great works of art when they couldve just said "self sacrifice is a reoccurring them seen in these worlds and is flashed back to during the ending".

Other than that I believe it, or at least some variation of it. Wouldn't be the first time Nomura did something like this.

>KH2 Lion King
>KH1 Atlantica
>Days Neverland
All of them are leagues worse than KH3 Frozen, even if KH3 Frozen still sucks ass.

DDD is better than BBS. Niether are amazing but still.

Shipperfags are cancer but if they ever reveal Riku is in love with Sora I wouldn't be shocked (They wont)

Riku is in love with Naminé because they touched hands

Lion king is fun, and if you dont like it its 100% optional. A lot of whats shit about Frozen is it's mandatory and never fucking ends

>A lot of whats shit about Frozen is it's mandatory and never fucking ends
I know it's such a dumb reason, but I ended up liking Frozen just because even Sora/Donald/Goofy were sick of it by the end. Almost felt like the devs were saying "yeah we didn't want this either but Disney is Disney"

Booo Namine was clearly thirsting after Roxas throughout all of KH2. "Whenever Sora and Kairi are together, we'll be too"

I took the whole Riku escorting Namine to the islands as him fulfilling the wish of Riku replica

Pirates of the Caribbean kh3 was the worst filler it's like they said "hey let's piss people off more with pointless battleship mini games and collectathons".

Naminé is a fucking slut brah she has no loyalty, she lusted hardcore for Sora in CoM and then went for Roxas in 2 but in 3 she touched minds with Terra and was amazed by how strong of a spirit he had and then Riku showed up and Riku is the one who inherited Terra's will therefore Riku = Terra so she went all in for that cock

I believe the dream theory, and 100% think more clues will be in the dlc to confirm it.
The shipping stuff was dumb and they shouldn't have rolled it into the dream theory.
Im not sure if I buy there being two evil Riku's. I like the idea of Data Riku still being out there, and them wearing different costumes is interesting. I just dont buy Nomura being subtle enough to give them different personalities as evidence. Its more likely he got excited during the final battle and the whole "How perceptive, Im not the real Riku" " No, this cant be, Im the real Riku, me!" Lines just an error with the script

2FM > Recoded > powergap > 3 > the rest

3 was a fucking travesty but it is at least playable with clearly defined rules. No "lol i broke out of your attack at random" bullshit.

I think KH3 combat is fine for the most part.
It just needs some tweaks so that you can't spam firaga and for attractions to become non-existant or very rare.
KH 0.2 CM already kinda nerfed magic, by halfing your mp bar.

Yo who wouldn't get wet meeting my bro THE LINGERING CHAD

KH2FM>KH3>BBS>KH>CoM>DDD>358/2>ReCoded>Tech demo 0.2

>3 and Recoded above 1
Absolute trash taste

Having super moves deplete some kind of metre would fix so much of the combat, itd go from spamming them all to considering on the fly which would work best

No fucking way is KH3 the second best in the series the way it is now

>BBS that high
Lmao I, too, like playing the same broken game 3 times.

none of these worlds forced me to replay a mini.game i didint want to play.

i find it funny you dont even spent your time with jack sparrow but i fake one made out of crabs.

This is right, although I prefer CoM on Ps2.

You really need to replay KH1 if you think it doesn't deserve to be higher. Putting it below Days is flat out ridiculous

CoM Ps2 just makes me wanna play 1 or 2, at least gba is portable with nice sprites and side scrolling combat

Cope. KH1 is dogshit. Was nice novelty when it first released and admittedly the ONLY game in the srries to do the Disney portion justice by fully integrating it into the story, but even then it was clunky dogshit gameplay wise.

Easy fix. Remove all RNG from the game in one fell swoop:

Team Attacks/Limits and Attractions get their own sub menu on the Command Menu, Grand Magic is meter based and uses up MP as well as Focus. Keyblade Transformations use up Focus, just like Drive Forms.

Wow it's like I'm fucking smart...oh no, that's just basic game design.

Nope. It's perfect the way it is. Don't use attractions.

>Its perfect
>Dont use this major gameplay element
????

I've played kh1 every year for the past 6 years, plus the times I played it on a ps2 way back when it came out. KH1 is fine as a game but I appreciate it more as an abstract idea rather than an entire video game at this point.

Attractions like Links are not OP, they are just bullshit with no skill required. Yes you can take damage whilenusing them but you get free Damage Control + infinite SC/OM while using them. Linksnuse MP which is good, but Attractions do not and are free to earn.

I say again, move Attractions + Team Attacks to their own sub menu, make them cost magic/focus, and you already fixed the problem.

>major gameplay element
Lol, it's not major in any way. It takes you away from combat and they are shitty to use. I only use carousel because I like it, but I immediately trigger the finisher. You are given options, and you choose what you want to do. That's the gameplay. Pieces of shit like yoou who cry "attractions should be turned off so I can't use them!" are unintelligent fucking faggots.

I'd put DDD over BBS desu. I fucking love playing as Riku.

If you're given an easy, unfun way to win, that kinda spoils the entire experience. Just fucking refine it for god's sake, its unintelligent to this this current everything plus the kitchen sink approach works

kh2 fm > kh1 fm > kh3 >>> COM > BBS >>>> coded > days > DDD

>BBS and fucking Re:Coded in the same tier
Based retard

>Lol, it's not major in any way. It takes you away from combat and they are shitty to use.
Being the unfun piece of shit that it is doesn't mean it's not a major combat mechanic
It's like saying Shotlocks aren't a major mechanic in BBS because you don't have to use them, but they're there and they're fucking broken pieces of shit

Objectively it's the third best(behind the two "core" games), but subjectively it feels much worse because I had higher expectations. It's like
KH II > KH >>power gap >> KH III > everything else

Also I'm an unrepentant story/lorefag and KH III was arguably the worst of ALL the games in that regard so I especially dislike it.

I actually just started it last night after finally finishing the others. My ranking so far based on what the collection had to offer is
2>1>0.2>DDD>BBS>Re:CoM
I'm only early into 3 but it's likely going to be in the top half at least

Deep Jungle is one of the best worlds with the coolest boss, cunt

Man you really must love that treehouse to enjoy going there 5 times

I really hate how they undo every single sad event thay ever happened in the series. KH2 was lowkey kinda depressing, so many characters die. Kh3 in comparison is way too sunshine and rainbows
>That scene they added in KH2FM where Axel has a vision of saying goodbye to Roxas before he dies
Fuck man, whyd you have to spoil that

I do its aesthetic af

>No one kills Axel, did you remember it?

I mean, Coded and DDD were already heavily hinting that everyone would come back, and I think it could've worked if pulled off with more finesse, but the execution just ended up being so garbage. There was a lot of thematic hinting that was just...completely dropped, and makes me wonder if I was just reading between the lines wayyyy too closely.

You don't even spend your time with Jack for the actually fun part of the level unless you head straight for the final boss and come back.

I hope CM taking so long to be released means that there would some major tweaks that won't make the game baby mode. I'd also really like it if they patched an extended version of the last stretch of bosses with more moves and the possibility to fight them individually a man can dream

Don't feel like it ruins those moments. I can still go back and feel sad about tjose scenes because the characters believe it's the last time they will see each other and it's convincing. Which is the good thing about emotional weight in fictional stories where they don't have to be believable or set in definitive stone. You just have to buy that the characters reacting to that event buy into it. It's founded on empathy rather than true consequence like in real life

Probably the lowest, seeing it permenantly fucked up the series forever.

>these portals that can only exist in dream worlds
But Riku summoned one at the end of DDD in Yen Sid's tower to enter Sora's heart.

Frankly I would have ranked DDD higher if it didn't have the dream eater grindfest and the bullshit final bosses setup.

DDD is the same game that makes fucking clothing design a plot point. There's no such thing as reading into Kingdom Hearts too closely.

>There was a lot of thematic hinting that was just...completely dropped, and makes me wonder if I was just reading between the lines wayyyy too closely.
>that part in 2 where Jack overhears SDG talking about other worlds and how Caribbean magic doesn't affect them
>Jack swearing to build a crew and come take the Keyblade from Sora
And what do we get in 3? Fucking crab Jack and everyone leaving Sora to literally fucking drown after he just saved their asses. I hate 3 with every fiber of my being.

That was only cause he was still a dream eater at that point, and it was a portal into the sleeping realm itself.
Sora was never a dream eater, and the portals pop up everywhere for battle challenges like in DDD

I think this is the key issue that splits the KH fanbase. Some feel it's character-driven, whereas others feel it's plot/theme-driven. I wouldn't say it's definitively trying to be one or the other, but for me the quality of the characterization is just not at a level where I can personally get invested in them. I think it's telling that the majority of "superfans" seem to have elaborate headcanons about the personalities and relationships(especially relationships) of the characters that's only barely supported in-media.

>That was only cause he was still a dream eater at that point
Nope, he returned to his KH2 self after they came back from TWTNW.

Sora is moe

Does anyone try to deny that it's at its best when its Sora Donald and Goofy hanging out? It was surprisingly heartwarming to see them back together after ten years in the opening

donald is more moe

Donald should have been a girl.

I feel like realistically 3 is better than 1, but nostalgia probably affects my opinion. Though I’d say at least the story is generally more enjoyable in 1, just cause there was a driving force I felt.

>Donald hugging Sora and wiping away a tear after seeing he's safe at the end of KH2
They better not

The combat in 1 is better. Less floaty and timing blocks and counters actually mattered. KH3 all you do is summon something that causes a clusterfuck cutscene and then everything dies.

either that or when they're actively getting plot or development from the world they're visiting rather than just tagging along for the ride.

Remember when Donal cast zetta flare and died?

yes and no. He was dying? I couldn't tell. Why was he dying?

This.
It may feel clunky, but you actually had to fight. KH3 is pretty much 'press X to awesome' the videogame.

>Sora dies in KH1
>Goofy dies in KH2
>Donald dies in KH3
The triforce is complete

>Sora dies again in KH3
The cycle repeats.

Everyone died in three. Hell, Sora and Kairi died twice.

Oh yeah dude, Sora freaks out and Riku says "We can protect their hearts!". Ventus and Axel are also fucking dying.

This is ofcourse before the tide of heartless come in and finish everyone off, and Sora uses the power of waking to reset time and get them all back. Except Kairi who's heart is missing for some reason. They also get guided back not by her but another light, and when she dies she turns into the same material Xion and the KH3 opening Darkside was made of and shatters for some reason, with no heart shown here either. Something weirds going on with her but I doubt we have any of the pieces to figure out what

Does losing one's heart actually equal dying?

I remember in KH1, that one random NPC in Traverse Town who's seen losing his heart, did that guy die right then and there? I thought as a kid when you defeated the Armor boss, the guy's heart returned to him.

>shotlocks
let's not forget that garbage mechanic hasn't gone away. 3 would be a lot more fun if they peeled away like 60% of the combat mechanics.

Zetta flare is the most powerful spell in all of FF. Only two other characters have ever cast it in the lore and they were literal god tier.

>spoiler
Don't start this gay fucking shit.

>I thought as a kid when you defeated the Armor boss
It was a soldier that killed him though.

At least Shotlocks are pretty much useless in 3 so you dont feel tempted to bust them out and break the game like team attacks and attractions

Every fucking time

Attached: Demon_Tower_KH0.2.png (342x323, 102K)

I bought the artbook edition cause i wanted it and the steelebook on release day/week, but i havent played it yet.
I was really hyped initially, but when the reality of university classes and tests came crashing down on me, i almost forgot i even had the game.
But soon, this monday is my last exam. Im gonna come home, take a nice hot shower, get in some comfy clothes, eat some rice, and open up that package.
Im looking forward to reading/looking through the artbook while i wait for the disc install to finish.
Im kinda off put by reviews but i dont really care, its gonna be the first time i experience a kh title (or any big release) within the same year it came out.

No, that's KH2. Everything currently wrong with the series can be traced back to that game.

What sucks about 3 is that it has the right idea with how to pace worlds i.e. spend time in the world once and be done but that it somehow has no idea how to pace the story. I straight up didn't care about most of the cast at the end since all of their endings came one after another, reducing the impact of each of their finales.

KH2:FM > KH1:FM > KH3 > KH Re:CoM > BBS > DDD > Re:Coded > 385/2

3 is medicore, but you can still get some fun out of it. If only every world was Pirates tier. Exploring random island with my bros, Donald and Goofy was a high point in the series, only to be followed up by the lowest low in Big Hero 6 world. I couldn't even get through the cutscenes there.

>Does losing one's heart actually equal dying?
I suppose you could argue it's still unclear. They DID say in KH II that only "strong-willed" people create nobodies(even generic dusks), so maybe normies just die when they turn heartless.

You mean Days and Coded.

WHEN I WILL BE ABLE TO PIRATE THIS AND RDR2 ON PC AAAAAAAH

That would be Big Hero 6 world. So empty and bland, it felt like a PS2 game.

Kairi was existing without her heart through most of KH1, but I guess she's a special case.

We've also never explicitly seen the leftover body from a person who's become a Heartless turn into a Nobody

khwiki.com/Director's_Secret_Report_XIII
>When a Heartless is defeated, essentially, the owner of that heart returns to life somewhere in the Realm with the body that had once disappeared.

In 2024 with RPCS4 :%)

I mostly just had no sense of direction in that world.

Honestly, multiple times through KH3, I found myself saying "where the hell am I supposed to go?"

yeah but any section where you have to use them to grapple around are still annoying. I just don't know why they felt the need to include every mechanic the series had ever conceived of. Like at the rate they were going i was waiting for them to introduce my card deck and reintroduce sleights by the end of the game.
I just want to go back to KH2 style combat with a new main gimmick on top of that, and bring pack KH1's batting projectiles back at enemies and platforming on bosses bodies. (without reaction commands)

No I really do mean KH2, I'm not saying it's not a bad game by means but a lot of the worst aspects of that game got carried over to the rest of the series.

Same here. This would be fine if the world was actually interesting, but there was nothing to do or explore. Corona was pretty and had nice music, but it's all just grassy corridors and trees.

I literally rand around every corner of the map until stumbling on the little street corner where you first fight the dark cubes because Hiro doesn't actually pit the arrow up until you're already fucking there.

The constant recap of previous games really irked me, especially since nothing happens until the last few hours in the actual game and it's underwhelming as fuck. Everything seems to happen just because. Vexen wants forgiveness from Ansem the Wise? Just seemed like a half-assed reason to allow the good guys to use the magic plot device that are replicas.

What "worst aspects" exactly? Because every time I hear someone shit on 2 it's always just because they hate the Organization and it clouds the rest of their opinion.

I don't agree with that. 2 atleast had what you call a bittersweet but satisfying ending to it and Days was an optional suplementary game at best. It's BBS and the dumb browser mobile games that really ruined KH, needlessly filling an already bloated cast and universe with more shit.

reaction commands are probably the biggest gameplay issue 2 brought with it.

>Vexen wants forgiveness from Ansem the Wise?

I was completely expecting that to be an act while being truly loyal to Org.XIII, Derek Stephen Prince's slimy voice just doesn't work well for good characters.

But not a single game since 2 has used them. Also your taste is garbage, reaction commands were the shit.

Hearts cant be destroyed just shattered or lost. They can also be replaced. Bodies are similar. Your soul has to die for you to perish in KH, Im not 100% sure what that entails though.

This. It was still even somewhat salvageable after BBS, but then DDD came along and just shit on things further.

>Vexen wants forgiveness from Ansem the Wise?
What's crazy about that? All the Organization Members at Hollow Bastion who reformed there all repented with Numbers 1-8 (and in Saix's case, considered/wanted it too since he helped Vexen) along with it.

I remember having run out of time a few time when you're supposed to save the BH6 crew because I couldn't find the ball you're supposed to ram into the cube ball.

It was the game that introduced floaty combat

@Numbers 3-8. Beause Xemas/Xehanort and Braid/Xigbar aren't reformed.

I expected him to be loyal to himself and only himself. Giving Ansem the replicas because he felt Xemnas wasn't using his genius to it's full potential.

pass

Worst game in the series.

chain of memories has the best story tho

2 > BBS > 3 > 1 > CoM > 358/2 > DDD > Cross > Coded

Probably due to Disney interfering.

>"Do this, or else ..."

Turn of the air finisher and magnet burst.

Attractions, form changes, and team attacks from 3 are all just reaction commands.
and no, "press Triangle to awesome" was never a good design. In KH1 it was
>Time your attack properly to reflect projectiles
In KH2 on it's
>If a projectile can be reflected you'll be prompted with a big flashing green sign that says press triangle to counter for AWESOMENESS! WATCH SORA TELEPORT AROUND AT SUPERSPEED TO BOUNCE THE SHOT BACK AT THE NOBODY !!!!!111

I don't remember all that well, but why did Vexen join the orginaztion back in the first place? iirc he said something about being able to further his research but couldn't he have done that with the original crew?

Back when Sora's character wasn't a complete bafoon, and could show a range of emotions.

Attached: eca87118e072311d3beb0afbac63dc51.jpg (1604x919, 552K)

>he hasn't played the mobile games

Does it? Since it's a retread of KH1, it barely has a story.

>Kingdom: Hearts Die Twice

Magic combat in the air is floaty too

Every enemy had a specifc triangle command that you had to use properly to defeat them e.g. timing the dusks slide right to continue a combo, or getting the "O" for the swordmen so you could cut through them.
In KH3 is just press a button and watch Sora beat them in a cutscene.

Same reason the others did? They wanted their hearts back, so they be fully human again?

Sora gets pissed all though KH2. His reaction to killing Demyx is to yell at the others to "come get some too" he's so high on the adrenaline

>In KH3 is just press a button and watch Sora beat them in a cutscene.
So just like all of KH2's bosses such as the Hydra and Xemnas?

>KH2 is just press a button and watch Sora beat them in a cutscene.
FTFY

>Attractions, form changes, and team attacks from 3 are all just reaction commands.
Not in the fucking slightest, try harder

Kingdom Hearts 1 > Kingdom Hearts 2 > Kingdom Hearts 3 > Birth By Sleep > Dream Drop Distance > 358/2 Days > Chain of Memories > Coded > Back Cover Movie > Mobile Shit

Attached: kh1.jpg (220x312, 25K)

I always liked that even though he shares many shonen mc traits like Goku and Naruto, he 100% lacks the "no killing rule" and totally ganks most of his villains while angry about it.

Nope. If you cant see the difference I cant help you, look past your bias

You just reminded me they were nobodies. What's up with that? The others turned back into normal people. And I remember Vexen actually reappearing in Hollow Bastion with the rest but being in a kind of catatonic state.

>Ranking KH3 over BBS

Elaborate.

>BBSfags still exist

>ranking BbS over anything
Elaborate.

Attached: jmR5ljC.jpg (763x1100, 310K)

>The others turned back into normal people.
The one part of the "Real," Organization were either forced back in or rejoined and let themselves turned back into Nobodies for their own reasons.

>And I remember Vexen actually reappearing in Hollow Bastion with the rest but being in a kind of catatonic state.
I imagine being re completed as a human, is going to take it's toll physically, mentally, etc when it happens. Some more then others. There are some Secret Reports in KH3 that elaborate more on Vexen specifically about it for him.

The onky time reaction command timing matters is the minigame within a minigame. Duel Stance/Begin Game, otherwise you mash triangle to awesome. Stop coping, stop lying, just fucken accept it.

Besides that, KH3 is shit. Just finished the game and that ending was horrid.

>Secret Reports in KH3 that elaborate more on Vexen specifically about it for him.
I've put the game down since I finished it and wasn't interested in the side content. Maybe I'll do the portal challenges sometime before the CM gets patched in, whenever that happens

Repitition in BBS was annoying. I also prefer to control one character for a full game rather than 3. The story is left unfinished until the events of Kingdom Hearts 3. Kingdom Hearts 3 has amazingly fleshed out Disney worlds and overall the cutscenes are way more natural. Kingdom Hearts 3 was a great game its just too easy, when you play level 1 proud mode you can really see what the game should be like before they cranked down the difficulty to make sure kids could beat it, I assume the devs must have been furious because when the bosses actually do good damage you realise that the actual battles are very well put together, its just that on standard difficulty modes you can breeze through without ever learning patterns, I think everyone who has played 3 should play level 1 proud to see the difference. The pacing at the end is also a lot better when you dont breeze through each boss fight in 3 minutes. The difficulty level is the biggest flaw of Kingdom Hearts 3, if it had Final Fantasy characters it would have been better but I'm fairly certain some will be in Final Mix, Nomura said members of the dev team personally told him they were angry that there were no FF characters in the released game.

It's the worst of the mainline games.

Why can't they make a game as good as KH2?

Birth By Sleep still feels like the sort of gameplay I'd expect from a kingdom hearts game, it felt like KH1 and KH2, even fragmented into three gameplay runs it was still fun and played like how I felt a kingdom hearts game should play.

KH3 meanwhile felt extremely watered down and unfocused.

>they got all the team working on ffvs13, I'll be playing KH3D while you fags argue
>DDD released 2012
>Versus to XV rebranding in 2013
This could only have been made in a small window of time

Also KH III updated version when

BBS gameplay is fucking awful and stilted. The worst gameplay elements of 3 are the ones they incorporated from shitty BBS like shotlock and formchange shit

Play Terra for 2 minutes and post this again

I felt like BBS was way too stiff control wise and the camera was downright fucking awful. It's the only reason I prefer DDD because they fixed both those things, though both aren't really good. DDD was just a mixed bag with a mess of a story piled on it, but it didn't control nearly as bad for me. Once I finally finished BBS I never looked back, and playing 3 now it feels mostly smooth, just with way too many gameplay gimmicks from throughout the series included in the combat

At the bottom of gaming, kh and ff always was a cancer with even more cancerous fanbase, or should i say fanboybase

I have never seen Frozen. Despite the world supposedly is a retelling of the story of the movie, surprisingly little information was shared about what was actually happening, but at least the major plot points are told.
Now if I ever decided to watch the movie, I will probably not enjoy it because I will be kept reminded about the bad memories of this KH world.

Re:Coded was so fun to play, I really liked those challenge levels and being able to customize every aspect of the game's difficulty
it's sad that everyone just trashes on it because of its story

In my opinion, including Let it Go was Disney low-key admitting that it was the only good thing about the film.

The fact that discussion died too fast to even call it a fotm game should tell you enough

To be fair games taking place in a computer where nothing is real and everyone forgets everything and none of it mattered are fucking retarded and are clearly only created to make more money pumping out a quick cheap game that doesnt affect any of the plot for games that actually matter and have money spent on them

>Disney low-key admitting that it was the only good thing about the film.

Not good, memorable, and that's thanks to the LGBT community adapting it as their anthem, similar to what happened with "Over the Rainbow" from the Wizard of Oz leading to the rainbow becoming their reprsenting flag.

yeah but it was fun and I enjoyed its gameplay way more than Days, the other KH game on DS
also Data Sora a cute

I forced myself to watch Frozen to prep for KH III and honestly it's an extremely thin plot padded with tons of irrelevant and/or preachy filler. The main arc is ostensibly about Elsa's struggle with her powers/accepting who she is but then that basically gets dropped halfway through in a vague bid to "deconstruct" the whole princess genre, love's true kiss, etc. etc. (as if they're somehow bold or original for doing that). I'm not surprised it came off as a mess in KH III. It's the same deal as with the Pirates world.

1>2>3>Com>BBS>Days>Re:Com. Never played the others that I don't mention.
That world felt really off that I ironically agreed with MatPat.

I just started playing this on my PS4 slim, do anyone else have a problem where sometimes Sora's run suddenly stutters happens mostly when I'm running diagonally and some button inputs aren't registered, noticed this on BH6's world.

Below 2 and 1, above all the others.
