How do they keep fucking up this bad?

>give money and assets to Sony's branch to make a game
>it's broken
>you are the one who lose its share value
wtf

Oh look its not just NISA who fucks up

imagine if that game went through their hands in its current state though.

NIS outsourced to Forwardworks, a SONY company focused for mobile games.

It's almost like sony intentionally sabotaged them or something.

wait this is phonetrash?
Who cares then
It sounded like an MMO or something

>full save reset
Anyone who spent money must be pissed

even from a Gatcha standard, this looks terrible.

The game is full a recycled asset, at least the normal phone game have the promise of original illustrations produced for it.

I don't think the game was ever playable enough to reach the microtransations.

If the game had worked, they would have probaly have done the regular seasonal outfits thing, which would have probably been available for real games later.

There were some replies on Twitter about refunds, so there were some nips that spent money on this.

so are they still blaming "excessive overseas logins"

>gacha
Let it burn.

In their statement, they put that as one reason, but if it needs 3 fucking months to fix it's not a server issue. There's gotta be something wrong with the code or something like that.

>overseas logins
imagine being a dev and having your marketing team making up that garbage in public to excuse the problems in your company.

The source of the problem is outsourcing the project in the first place. If it was made inhouse then the game would have half as many issues.

it depends, nis doesn't really have the tech knowledge to run server based games like that.

>our game was more popular than anticipated let's fuck everyone over and become completely incompetent again

who falls for that shit? Kotaku bloggers? The amount of people logged-in is perfectly controllable.

are you that retarded that you dont know what a ddos is?

irrelevant to the problems at hand. DDOS gets hard and harder to pull with modern techs, it's not 2005 anymore.

It's almost unbelievable how hard they fucked this up.
A lot of nips really upset that they swarmed the official twitter to take a piss on it.

but it's the same goddamn situation, too many login calls slow the server to a crawl until it stop responding entirely

most of those oversea logins are most likely from china and those fuckers are like locusts

NIS's stocks have tanked pretty hard as a result of this, so I'd say there's a reason to be at least a little concerned.

they could just put everyone in a queue like Blizz does.
or open more short-term servers until the hype die down to stable playerbase.

>they could just put everyone in a queue
They did do something like this and it still didn't work. It's not a server issue.

how does the roster play out?

>but it's the same goddamn situation
no it's not. You need hundreds of millions of connection to bottleneck modern servers. It's impossible if you don't do it with weaponized programs. They were bullshitting from day 1

I'm not sure why that user is even giving them the benefit of the doubt at this point.

Baka gaijins reeeeee
