What indie games are you particularly looking forward to this year user?
Indies
Other urls found in this thread:
Indivisible
Heart Fort Alicia
Cuphead, Skullgirls, A Hat in Time Switch port
Silksong
hollow knight 2: hornet boogaloo
that's it
Afterparty
is hollow knight good?
if you like metroid vanias its one of the best
also if you like how darksouls does lore, it follows similar trends
Bloodstained Ritual of the Night
King Knight for Shovel Knight
Cyber-Shadow
Steamworld Quest
Necrodancer Cadence of Hyrule
And I mean I'd say Silksong too without a doubt if it was to actually be released this year, which it won't.
I am looking forward to the Crosscode Switch version though.
>Another game that took the Epic exclusivity money
God fucking dammit
It's absolutely wonderful in terms of game design
It's average and the combat is boring.
That shit isn't coming out this year, you are delusional
Phoenix Point
Environmental Station Alpha 2.
Burrito Galaxy.
Monolith's DLC.
Risk of Rain 2 updates.
Can't really think of much else, but I haven't been looking as much as I should be.
Baba Is You would have been my number one hype-wise and that turned out just as great as expected.
Other than that, Noita, HK2 (hopefully), Necrodancer.
>Burrito Galaxy.
Fucking
When
>Monolith's DLC.
I didn't even know /agdg/user was making more stuff for that game. Neat
I'm waiting for the faggots behind Cultist Sim to flesh out the game.
I'm waiting for Silksong.
I have enough game to keep me occupied in the form of end game autism in HK. I plan to eventually beat every boss on Radiant.
Yeah, he's been teasing shit on twitter for ages, apparently it's supposed to be $7.
twitter.com
Huniepop 2.
Cool. I gotta get around to playing that game more sometime
Yeah but I'm getting it on PS4 anyway so I don't really care
Yes. Art direction and music is beautiful, level design is good, gameplay is solid and sometimes quite good:
Poking Mantis Lords with unupgraded nail is quite boring, but that colosseum no-floor section is great.
Sometimes map system is fucking stupid - I'm talking about Fog Canyon.
As a slowpoke that´s playing it just now myself i can tell you it´s pretty good. The level design is fantastic and evolving the knight to access new maps feels rewarding. Enemies are some times difficult and you will die more than once but it almost never feels unfair. Rather it feels as if you should come back when you are stronger.
The art and and the music work pretty good together to give that melancholic tone and the areas are pretty diverse. I really did not expect to like it this much. I am not even a great fan of metroidvalina titles (have played just the essentials more renowed ones like Symphony of the night and stuff like that)
>Noita
>this year
I fucking wish.
Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin
Giraffe and Anika
Bloodroots
Soundfall
Necrobarista
Songbird Symphony
Last Labyrinth
Observation
The Pathless
No Straight Roads
Freedom Finger
Mutazione
Draugen
Shenmue 3
Paper Beast
It's one of the best games I've ever played, filled to the brim with passion, love and charm, optimized so much that even a shitty laptop or a switch can play it on high quality. Frequently on sale for less than 10 euros/dollars, lasts longer than most AAA titles without even touching the DLC content, which is all free.
Nothing coming out for the rest of this year can outshine Baba is You.
Barotrauma
Minoria
Hat in Time dlc/switch port
Hollow Knight Slik Song
Shantae 5
Risk of Rain 2 update stuff
Bloodstained
And Indivisibles
>Barotrauma
>Yea Forums's pretend game is actually going to be real
what
I haven't played Hollow Knight yet because the physical edition isn't out till May. Might pick up Dead Cells soon, and then Shovel Knight when that comes out.
>being this new
Yes.
To the point where if you talk about how good it really is, someone will invariably come in and say it's overrated.
It's also like $15 at full price. Team Cherry are heroes.
Eastward but I don't know if it's coming this year.
It's a thoroughly solid game (barring some unnecessarily slow pacing/progression at the start) clearly made with love but it won't blow your mind if you've played your fair share of metroids or vanias and the like. There's no standout unique mechanics or gimmicks, pretty much everything is cribbed from elsewhere so don't expect surprises in that department, for better or worse. Go play it and make up your mind.
Barotrauma's entire concept is from some dude posting in a thread talking about non-existant games.
Should I buy Dead Cells?
UFO 50
Spelunky 2
Legend of Bum-bo
Binding of Isaac Repentance
Indivisable
Cuphead DLC
Silksong
Not a single one of them
Oh and Sakuna, as another user mentioned.
Where my Ori 2 bros at?
Mine :)
Early Access this year!
Blasphemous
Serious Sam 4
My Friend Pedro
Witchfire
What's it called?
literally my most anticipated title of the decade, even if its a part of tree.
Little boring but later levels become great. Combat is also very good.
>no La Mulana on that image
