This is the best game I ever played, the fucking ideas in this shit, I know it's partly Sokoban and partly something else entirely but it's so fucking great, and the more I play it the better the ideas are; and most of the time I'm not quite sure how I achieved something: teleporting through myself, using letters to push something into something else turning it into myself, turning myself into an object, pushing what used to be me with now-animated object...what a game. The best amalgam of what magick is and simultaneously the best depiction of programming I ever saw
I mean I'm so fucking dumb that I try to showcase a level and can't remember how in the hell I finished it in the first place but nonetheless it's so much fun
I quit video games few years ago and only play boardgames now but this I keep on my desktop now
I'm too fucking stupid to understand MOVE how the fuck do you get robots to fucking turn
Jaxson Allen
cute MOVE can't turn things, you have to turn them yourself with PUSH or something like that
Andrew Davis
So what's this game about?
Caleb Wood
You have to push around words to make rules, which change how you interact with objects. The game has a lot of out of the box solutions to puzzles.
Adrian Mitchell
Can I play from browser?
Ayden Torres
2hard4me. There are some levels that I've stared at for literal hours without making any progress, and not even that far into the game, world 4 or 5
Oliver White
you push stuff around like in sokoban but some of the stuff are simple words that form simple sentences that change reality in increasingly complex ways
Gabriel Roberts
what i really like about the game is that it's confined to one screen while remaining a spatial puzzle so it loses that tiresome moment of walking around back and forth and really condenses the experience while losing nothing of the complexity, it's really easy to fiddle around with stuff and when you figure something out it's really a great feeling
Jackson Nelson
ugh
Tyler Sanchez
internet time is up, favela monkey
Sebastian Lopez
Is someone here port this into IOS/Android?
Henry Hill
Are there any differences between the PC and Switch versions?
William Walker
I hate the game, not because it's poorly designed or anything (it's actually brilliant) but because it reminds me I'm a turbo brainlet
there's no getting gud here
Gavin Rivera
i find it easier than, say, spacechem which i also liked because the UX is so much better and spiffier.
Dylan Lewis
BABA is HARD
BABA loves YOU
Angel Flores
You can't. Think of something else. If it's the level I think it is, think about how Defeat works instead.
Aaron Morales
>BABA is controlled by nothing truly the most horrifying thing about this post
fuck this retarded game. I keep getting stuck for hours, quitting then coming back to find the solution in like 5 seconds. I've wasted too much time on this turd. The last level i was on had cog is sink and melt, everythings fucking floating too and the water is hot. fuck this game all of you kill yourselves for promoting this turd.
Nolan Sanchez
t. seething brainlet
Benjamin Perez
baba
Oliver Fisher
>The last level i was on had cog is sink and melt Push WATER into the water to make a bridge, push the cog on the leftmost skull, and make COG IS SINK.
Dylan Perez
PC version is updated more often. Switch version is a few patches behind.
Kayden Martin
>The best amalgam of what magick is wait, are you saying magick is real?
Aaron Howard
not at all, but baba is you is a game that kharms would play. he put emphasis on the power that the words have and how your actions can influence reality (which is one of the standard occult postulates). i'm not dumb enough to believe in magick but it reminded me of that even though it's a programming game: its artistic side turns you into a wizard (the player character aka baba or whoever you are at the moment)
Cooper Davis
The only way to make a MOVE object change direction that isn't YOU is to make them PUSH, have them interact with an object that is SHIFT, or to use the specific directional modifiers of UP, LEFT, RIGHT, and DOWN. Otherwise the only direction changing they'll do automatically is to do a 180 when they hit an item that's STOP or a boundary.
Christopher Butler
it gets boring after the midpoint. feels like you are not playing a game anymore.
