Do I buy a console for RDR2
Cooper Mitchell
Blake Cook
do whatever ya want feller
Easton Taylor
Absolutely no.
Eli Davis
wait for pc version
Chase Martinez
I played it, I don't think it would be worth buying a console just for it if you don't already own one.
Evan Watson
Riddle me this OP:
Why would you drop money on an underpowered gimped plastic shitbox for a game you know is getting a PC release?
Ethan Hall
>you know is getting a PC release
[citation needed]
Adam Cox
>implying Rockstar hates money
Henry Thompson
You're right, PC is a very profitable platform for them, that's why they released the original RDR on PC. Oh wait...
Andrew Mitchell
GTAV is STILL one of the top selling PC games.
>hurr watabout rdr1 durr
Oh yea Bad Company 2 never came to PC did did it? Or what about Destiny 2? Oh wait, they actually did how can this be?
You're an underage brainlet who hasn't got the slightest clue to how corporations function.
Henry Davis
>can't refute the fact that RDR1 never came out on PC
Nice non-arguments. Stay mad.
Carter Hall
Can you answer this simple question then - if Rockstar likes money, and PC is a profitable platform, how come Red Dead Redemption was never released on PC? It really makes one ponder, doesn't it?
Nolan Bennett
Rockstar's excuse was they never ported it because the game's code was a mess.
Take that as you will.
Jose Bennett
the gameplay itself is pretty shit and I would say it's not worth buying a console for it. The amount of work that went into it is pretty impressive tho but they focused on the wrong things. Nothing new gameplay wise, shit missions, lame open world etc..
Kayden Howard
Hell no, the game isn't worth it's own price tag let alone an extra $300. I played it to completion, and wish I hadn't. It was boring. The story was almost interesting even though thats obviously all they cared about.
Jeremiah Sanchez
>he doesn't know
Jose Davis
So the answer is PC doesn't have a pc port of RDR1?
Justin Edwards
I do know it never got a PC release. Maybe PCfags will be able to emulate it by 2030
Carson Morgan
>the game isn't worth its own price tag let alone an extra $300

Joseph Powell
Yes, but you knew that already.
The reason Rockstar gave was messy coding.
What's the problem? Are you having trouble reading?
Nathan Campbell
The game is fucking dull like GTAV, it's all very impressive technologically but the gameplay fucking sucks
Ethan Edwards
>dull like GTAV
GTAV was pretty great, at least compared to GTAIV
Luis Perry
GTAIV>GTAV
Mason Rivera
>brown and grey "aesthetic"
>muh grimdark story
>nothing to do outside of missions besides bowling
>goal of game is to make money, but there's literally nothing besides 5 clothing items to spend it on
>""""""""""realistic"""""""""" driving where cars slide around like boats
>every mission is "go here and shoot these guys dead"
>no planes, no tanks, no crazy weapons, no parachutes (until TBoGT)
>protagonist regrets past actions, wants to be a better man
>runs people over because the way they go flying away is funny
>people claim it's the better game because people fall down stairs realistically
GTAV is flawed, but at least it knew what it wanted to be and did a LOT more things than GTAIV.
Benjamin Parker
>NO NO NO RDR WILL NOT COME TO PC IT FUCKING CANT ROCKSTAR WILL STAY L O Y A L TO CONSOLES EVEN THOUGH THEIR LAST 3 GAMES CAME OUT ON PC
Because everyone knows R* isn’t one of the most Jewish devs out there.
Zachary Wood
anyone who thinks RDR2 is not coming to the best platform is a fucking retard.

David Sullivan
Now I only played the PS3 version before online was up, but there was no fucking way to make money in GTAV after the main and side missions. Buying shares and destroying was boring and didn't really pay off.
But the worst part that really killed it for me is that police chases are no fun at all.
Dominic Garcia
Riddle me this: why is RDR1 not on PC? Try not to SEETHE too hard now, kiddo. You might get a brain aneurysm from being so mad.
Oliver Adams
it already is on PC you mong
Evan Lopez
The code is an unfixable mess, supposedly.
I don't know if it would work on PC anyway. The whole game is balanced for console autoaim.
Camden Russell
You can make billions in GTAV's SP stock markets if you know what you're doing. The last heist leaves each protagonist with around 30 million bucks though, which is enough for plenty of the toys you might want to buy, but probably not all of them. I didn't really find the cop chases that bad, I was just a bit annoyed by the rubber-bandind that allowed the cops to catch up with you in their Crown Vics even if you were in a hypercar. Installing a mod that makes the vehicles actually go at the appropriate speeds their real life counterparts can reach made the chases infinitely more enjoyable though. If you're on PC I highlt recommend it, and the "crime and police rebalance" mod.
Isaiah King
Play it with a controller on pc, that's what I did with gta v
Kevin Wright
Not that guy, but I could never play any game that has shooting with a controller. Luckily GTAV seamlessly recognizes multiple input devices at once so I used a controller for driving and M/KB for shooting.
Anthony Flores
Auto aim works just fine
Justin Perry
>auto aim
>fine
Would you be okay with autodrive too? Oh wait, they're actually moving in that direction with RDR2 and the automatic horse riding. It's actually sad.
Oliver Davis
I did the exact same thing and really really regret it. RDR2 was fun at first but it very quickly grinds you down with every fucking mission being a boring escort as you follow some jackshit for 3-5 minutes. Shoot some dudes, more dialog and walking around, shoot some more dudes, than a 50/50 chance of another 3-5 minute escort back to the camp. It's fun when you actually get to fucking play but the game just refuses to let you have any form of agency over your character.
After I forced myself to finish RDR2 I bought bloodborne, finished that and now I haven't touched my PS4 in months because there aren't any other fucking games. I tried a little Persona but didn't really like it and The Last of Us was boring as fuck. So Unless you really like westerns and Red Dead than I wouldn't recommend it.
Aaron Bell
What's the enjoyment in just pressing a button that makes your crosshair lock onto an enemy and then pressing another button that makes them die? It takes all control out of it and the game might as well just do it all for you as you set your controller on the table. It's braindead.
