They fixed Battlefront 2 at last by removing lootboxes and unlocking all the heroes for free. Daily credits and cosmetic packs are handed to you in boxes but it doesn't count because there is no longer RNG. There's also classic Conquest gameplay.

I have a hard time believing that Respawn was the company that was able to break EA of its programming to say Single player games are not worth the investment when they had Amy Henning making a star wars game amd canceled it telling people that it wants to focus on multiplayer games.

At the same time Respawn was able to also get past the, you can use any engine you want as long as its frostbite internal directive that EA has had. While also getting past the Fifa Ultimate Team hook that EA wants in every game for that long term cash cow that in anthem probably worked better than the rest of the game.

Imagine working at bioware to hear that the new company ea bought its basically getting run of the ship. While your stuck working with Dragon Age and Frostbite.

We all knew that would bomb) and changed its internal directives before Respawn started developing this game. BF2 and Anthem would have started development way before Fallen Order, so it could be that Bioware just hasn't been able to start a new project under EAs more lax regulation.

The Dark Times is kinda loaded with more emotional jedi. a number of Order 66 survivors were padawans (kanaan, protag of Fallen Order). Generally they were less disciplined and robotic as a result. Kanaan straight up had a kid with a girl he loved and repeatedly got visibly frustrated and even angry, as did Ezra and even Ahsoka lost her cool on occassion. i suspect they'll go down that route
