ELDER GOD TIER
>putt putt saves the zoo
GOD TIER
>putt putt goes to the moon
>putt putt's dog on a stick
TOP TIER
>putt putt joins the circus
>putt putt's balloon-o-rama
MID TIER
>putt putt travels through time
>putt putt joins the parade
SHIT TIER
>putt putt enters the race
>peps birthday surprise

This is irrefutable

I only played balloon o-rama and freddi's maze game.

Are the spy fox and pajama sam spin-offs any good

spy fox and pajama sam are great, and if you dont agree then you are probably a nigger.

This one was fun as hell

>Travel through time that low

Easy. Humongous Entertainment was formed by ex-LucasArts members. Fucking Ron Gilbert, user.

>Mfw i get stuck in pajama sam 2 cause the wingnut was in that stupid ass location under the drain pipe

Its cool that the games mix up the puzzle solutions each time but jesus christ i feel dumb

People did the games because they wanted to, not because of money.
Best scene though: youtube.com/watch?v=iwh9iUtX4Fc

No filter

Just being experimental and being themselves.

That's literally it.

I don't remember the fox.

>tfw I used to have a crush on the freaking scallion dance teacher in PJ Sam 3 so I would keep doing the dance lesson

I can't remember which one it was but there was one of these games that ran fucking terribly on my system. The rest ran fine but one was so busted, animations kept skipping, load times were long for a stand point and click adventure game and the general presentation was awful.

as an adult i realize that they were drawing on a whole genre of adventure games, not just making "kids' games" whole cloth

>putt putt
>not patronizing
You must be pretty fucking dense.

Changing Putt putts colors.

I would play puttputt and freddy then swap to playing commander keen and rise of the triad. Early-mid 90s were kino for games

It's like one of my japanese animes

The cheese doodles in Putt Putt Saves the Zoo would always make me hungry in real life yet satisfied when Putt Putt ate them. The best Freddi Fish is probably the one with the stolen conch shell. These games trigger so much nostalgia, even more than snes games.

i remember my step dad throwing out all my discs when i was 7

Are there any hipster indie devs that bank on the nostalgia of these kinds of educational games yet. I haven't been paying attention.

I miss this kind of shit. The games where you thought, "What the fuck were these people on when they made this?" A good example is The Museum of Anything Goes. It's just odd and unnerving but not because the creators specifically intended for it to be that way, but because of how off the wall it was.

>ELDER GOD TIER

Nice. I always wanted to try the cheese squigglies.

What are the controls for these like? can the be played with a gamepad or mouse? Or do they require fast reflexes on the keyboard? My daughter is six and I'm thinking of picking these up for her. I don't want to turn her into an autistic gamer like myself.

Spy Fox was my shit as a kid, it was a based trilogy with each game being better than the one before.

They're mostly just point and click adventure games. There may be the occasional minigame that uses the keyboard or sometimes a quick time event based on clicking something but overall nothing ever really that intense

Are those worth getting if i only ever played the first two Freddi Fish games?

This is the most patrician boomerpost I’ve ever seen what the fuck

putt putt travels through time is amazing, the first one that actually changes each time you play

They're interactive point & click games. Mouse & keyboard.

Are there even any good modern edutainment games for kids like this line of kino I was snorting

>and I'm thinking of picking these up for her
Definitely do this, those games are top tier comfy.

I remember playing pajama pants sam in nyc as a kid over at a family friends apartment who I've long forgotten. that was a really nice game. all I can remember was that the kid may or may have not had a black dad and a white mom. where ever you are I hope your doing ok pajama pants kid

Now THAT is something I wasn't expecting.

Literally the best bundle in months and its for supposed baby adventure games

Based

These games would be perfect on Switch!

these point and click adventure games for children were a hell of a lot more memorable than anything sierra ever put out, prove me wrong

don't worry, after 20 years those discs would've rotted anyway

Leisure Suit Larry is extremely overrated thats why

Nice, I haven't checked the Humble Bundle for ages. I only ever played Putt Putt as a kid so I'd love to see what the other games were like.

>Produces bloody chunks as he eats him
Holy fucking shit

Pretty sure thats just the eating-sandwich animation

Your mother must be proud of you.

Literally the best

The guy who made Monkey Island was behind that company
