Around my campus whenever the game came out everyone loved the shit outta reach, my friends list was also full of people playing the game for months to years nearly everyday.
Just because Yea Forums hates a game doesn't mean the game is bad, Reach was its own can of worms but it was much better received than any 343 game to date.
